Depends on the form of collapse.

Hard crash with famine (which will lead to violence, basically the prepper's dream). Widespread violence and absence of law aside from key areas. Basically anarchy.
Subversion/transition after a slow decline. This is when another culture starts to dominate or subvert your own, when your own ceases to be sustainable. See the collapse of the Roman empire for a good example of this. And no, it won't be Islam, but the Chinese model you'd end up subverted by.
Demographic collapse. This happens when the birthrate falls below replacement for an extended period of time. A new generation does not get born, so a lot of social niches end up not being filled. We see this in process in Korea and Japan, while the US and especially Europe try to stave it off with immigration. No known examples of this, but I suspect as the workforce diminishes, so will productivity. Unemployment will approach zero, but it won't be enough. Gaps where roles are not filled which unqualified people will have to fill, leading to an inefficient and overworked workforce. Further incentivizing people to opt out entirely.

The corporate cunts who are developing AI know full well it will lead to the loss of hundreds of millions of jobs worldwide, but they, with the government's blessing, are doing it anyway. That's why some are pushing for a universal basic income.

Power is becoming more and more concentrated in ever fewer hands. Nationalism and even national identity is being demonised everywhere. There will be a few super blocks controlled by unelected cunts, The EU, United nations, China, and who knows what will happen to America.

The surveillance society has already surpassed .anything Orwell predicted. Not a whisper of protest from any politicians.

Women now have complete contempt for men. The left is pushing for a race war. So as things stand, things are already fucked up.

The are two things to add into the mix.

If someone like Ocasio Cortez becomes president then the US will fall straight down the shitter. Welcome to the Chinese century.
The population time bomb in Africa. The current population of 1 billion is expected to quadruple by 2100. That means hundreds of millions, possibly billions of Africans on the move for a life in the new world.

Whichever way you look at it, the next eighty years is gonna be a fuckin shitshow. As far as a collapse is concerned, get a gun and hope for the best.
