Some people respond to the hectoring gym coach/drill sergeant style of teaching, but sometimes it is just silly. After I had a laugh at this recent post, it struck me how unproductive the message was. (Forgive me if I veer into hectoring territory.)

No one is on your side. Not your family. Not your friends. Not your girlfriend. No one.

Show me on the doll where they touched you.

It IS important to be self-sufficient, but you will achieve greater goals with greater ease by charming people into helping you. If you can't do this, it's because your plans suck, or you lack charisma. Two very real things to work on right there; stop being paranoid.

It's also true that you can't count on women, but if she isn't your biggest cheerleader, then the problem is probably you. Women want to be part of team Alpha. Even if they don't contribute. Don't count on her for support, but if she isn't enthusiastic about your success (and acting like she should be credited for it), you aren't having enough success.

Others do not want to see you win. . . . People do not like to see others succeed.

This is ridiculous. There IS a thing called crabs in a bucket, but you can just ignore those people. People love winners. If no one is on your side, it's not because you are a winner, it's because you are a loser, and people hate losers.

If it feels like you’re doing things wrong, it’s likely an indication you’re doing things right.

If it feels like you're doing things wrong, it's probably because you have a counterproductive negative attitude.

The reason why almost no one makes it to the top is because no one is on your side, and they higher value you become, the more shit you will get.

More garbage. The reason why almost no one makes it to the top is because almost everyone is a loser.

The higher value you become, the more good shit you will get. It's really quite simple. If you aren't getting a lot of good shit, you aren't winning.
