The 666 Rule
- Be at least 6 feet tall
- Have a 6 figure income
- Have a 6 pack
Some women also want a man to be 6/10 on the attraction scale and have at least a 6 inch dick but I'll be leaving those out of the study as they are subjective.
Guideline
This study was done on American men from the ages of 18-65. Everyone else has been excluded from the study. The age of 18 is the minimum because boys have usually stopped growing at that age. The maximum age is 65 due to women losing interest. (I know some women will date a 65 year old guy but I doubt many would meet the requirement of having a 6 pack.)
Here are the steps I took in order to reach the verdict:
- Find the total population of men from the ages of 18-65
- Find the percentage of men that are at least 6 feet tall
- Find the percentage of men who are obese/overweight
- Find the percentage of men who make over 6 figures
- Find the percentage of men that are married
Population
The current U.S. Population on July 4th at census.gov/popclock was 328,054,892. There is only a census done every 10 years so this is just an estimate but men are normally around 49% of the population. 49% of 328,054,892 = 160,746,897
The American Community Survey at https://factfinder.census.gov/faces/nav/jsf/pages/community_facts.xhtml had the male population at 156,765,322 in 2016 so we aren't far off from the population of today. I would rather run with these numbers since it has exact data on how many males are under the age of 18 and over the age of 65.
119,155,429 was the total of men over the age of 18
20,304,128 was the total of men over the age of 65.
119,155,429 - 20,304,128 = 98,851,301
This is now the number of the male population from the ages of 18-65.
Height
All over the web you will find the statistic that only 14% of men are at least 6 feet tall and only 3.9% of them are over 6'2". The top hit on Google referred to this website http://www.humanforsale.com/height.asp. I will run the numbers for the men that are over 6'2" as well.
14% of 98,851,301 = 13,839,182
3.9% of 98,851,301 = 3,855,200 (Guys over 6'2")
Weight
According to https://www.oecd.org/els/health-systems/Obesity-Update-2017.pdf 35% of men 15 years and over are considered obese. A man who is obese definitely cannot have a six pack. We also need to factor in how many men are overweight because if you’re overweight I doubt you can have a six pack either. The total percentage of adults that are overweight is near 70%. I couldn’t find the exact percentage of men that are overweight but if 70% of adults are overweight and there are more women overweight than men I would estimate that 60% of men are overweight. I feel like this is being generous saying that 40% of guys have a six pack but we’ll go with it. 40% of our previous number is what we want to keep.
40% of 13,839,182 = 5,535,672
40% of 3,855,200 = 1,542,080 (Guys over 6'2")
Income
The survey found here at https://www.census.gov/data/tables/time-series/demo/income-poverty/cps-pinc/pinc-01.html surveyed 103,000 men from the ages of 15-65 on their personal income for a year. 13,300 made over $100,000 which equals 13%. Looking around many other sites the general consensus seems to be around 10% of men make over six figures a year so this data seemed pretty accurate. We’ll go with 13% just to give these hoes a glimmer of hope.
13% of 5,535,672 = 719,637
13% of 1,542,080 = 200,470 (Guys over 6'2")
Marital Status
We would have to assume that a lot of these guys are married right? According to https://factfinder.census.gov/faces/tableservices/jsf/pages/productview.xhtml?pid=ACS_16_1YR_S0201&prodType=table 49% of men over the age of 15 are married. Surely that percentage has to be higher for these men. To be fair I'm going to go with 60% are married even though I'm thinking that percentage is higher. 40% of our previous number is what we want to keep.
40% of 719,637 = 287,854
40% of 200,470 = 80,188 (Guys over 6'2")
Hair
I'm doing this for shits and giggles hahaha. Some women just NEED a man with a full head of hair am I right? (I mean YOLO!!!). What if the 666 rule just isn't enough? Well 2/3 of men lose some of their hair by the age of 35.
33% of 287,854 = 94,991 (With a full head of hair)
33% of 80,188 = 26,462 (Guys over 6'2") (With a full head of hair)
How many per city?
This is a list of the country’s 51 largest cities based on population. https://www.currentresults.com/Weather-Extremes/US/largest-cities-list.php. According to it around half of the male population live in urban areas. I think it's fair to say that the overwhelming majority of these guys would be living in these cities. I would put the percentage at 75%. This will give us the total number of guys living in these cities.
75% of 287,854 = 215,890
75% of 94,991 = 71,243 (With a full head of hair)
75% of 80,188 = 60,141 (Guys over 6’2”)
75% of 26,462 = 19,846 (Guys over 6'2") (With a full head of hair)
The top 3 cities on this list (New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago) account for 25% of the total population living in urban areas. Let’s find out how many guys that meet the 666 rule are living in these cities.
25% of 215,890 = 53,972
25% of 71,243 = 17,810 (With a full head of hair)
25% of 60,141 = 15,035 (Guys over 6’2”)
25% of 19,846 = 4,961 (Guys over 6’2”) (With a full head of hair)
To break it down even further, let’s see how many of these men are living in each of these cities. To do this I added the population of all 3 cities together and determined what percentage of that total each city was contributing. (New York City (46%), Los Angeles (31%) Chicago (23%) I can now run our previous numbers with these percentages to find out how many are in each city.
New York City
46% of 53,972 = 24,827
46% of 17,810 = 8,192 (With a full head of hair)
46% of 15,035 = 6,916 (Guys over 6’2”)
46% of 4,961 = 2,282 (Guys over 6’2”) (With a full head of hair)
Los Angeles
31% of 53,972 = 16,731
31% of 17,810 = 5,521(With a full head of hair)
31% of 15,035 = 4,660 (Guys over 6’2”)
31% of 4,961 = 1,537 (Guys over 6’2”) (With a full head of hair)
Chicago
23% of 53,972 = 12,413
23% of 17,810 = 4,096 (With a full head of hair)
23% of 15,035 = 3,458 (Guys over 6’2”)
23% of 4,961 = 1,141 (Guys over 6’2”) (With a full head of hair)
We now need to find the total male population in each city to find out the percentage of men who can meet the 666 rule in each city.
If you take our original male population number of 98,851,301 and divide it in half (half of all men live in urban areas) you get 49,425,650. While 25% of this population live in the top 3 cities (New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago)
25% of 49,425,650 = 12,356,412
From here we can run the numbers with our previous percentages to find out the male population in each city. Keep in mind this is still men ages 18-65
New York City – 46% of 12,356,412 = 5,683,949
Los Angeles – 31% of 12,356,412 = 3,830,487
Chicago – 23% of 12,356,412 = 2,841,974
Then you take the number of guys in each city that can meet the 666 rule and compare it with the total male population to find out the percentage.
New York City
24,827 out of 5,683,949 = 0.44%
8,192 out of 5,683,949 = 0.144% (With a full head of hair)
6,916 out of 5,683,949 = 0.12% (Guys over 6’2)
2,282 out of 5,683,949 = 0.04% (Guys over 6’2 with a full head of hair)
Los Angeles
16,731 out of 3,830,487 = 0.43%
5,521 out of 3,830,487 = 0.149% (With a full head of hair)
4,660 out of 3,830,487 = 0.125% (Guys over 6’2”)
1,537 out of 3,830,487 = 0.04% (Guys over 6’2” with a full head of hair)
Chicago
12,413 out of 2,841,974 = 0.43%
4,096 out of 2,841,974 = 0.144% (With a full head of hair)
3,458 out of 2,841,974 = 0.123% (Guys over 6’2”)
1,141 out of 2,841,974 = 0.04% (Guys over 6’2” with a full head of hair)
Other Factors
- This doesn't factor in the 6/10 on the attraction scale. Some of these guys could be butt ugly and awkward. They are just tall, rich, and fit.
- This doesn't factor in dick size and performance in bed. If a guy is lacking in that department we all know that's a deal breaker.
- This doesn't factor in guys who are in committed relationships but are not married.
- This doesn’t factor in gay men.
- This doesn't factor in guys who are MGTOW or self proclaimed bachelors. These women don't seem to get that these guys aren't married for a reason. They get pussy thrown at them every day, if they wanted a wife they would have one.
- This doesn’t factor in guys with tattoos (I’ve known women who don’t date guys unless they have tattoos)
- This doesn’t factor in guys who are fit but don’t have a six pack
Conclusion
Out of 98,851,301 men in the United States in the age range of 18 to 65 only 0.3% (287,854) can meet the 666 rule while only 0.08% (80,188) of men can meet the rule if the desired height is 6’2”. If you factor in guys with a full head of hair only 0.1% (94,991) of men can meet the rule while only 0.03% (26,462) of men can meet the rule if the desired height is 6'2".
A woman living in New York City would have 24,827 men (0.44%) to choose from that can meet the 666 rule. If she wanted a man over 6’2” then she would only have 6,916 men (0.12%) to choose from. If you factor in guys with a full head of hair she would have 8,192 (0.144%) to choose from and only 2,282 men (0.04%) to choose from over 6’2”. In smaller cities (cities under 1 million in population) the 6’2” number could easily be in the hundreds.
Weighing in the other factors that I listed above these numbers could be a lot smaller than they are. I was fairly generous in my percentages to give some leeway in regards of how many men have a six pack, how many of these men are married, and what percentage of them earn over 6 figures.
There are some factors to take into consideration that could make these numbers larger such as successful men being in better shape, taller guys being in better shape, taller guys making more money, or more successful guys being in bigger cities but I don’t believe they could affect these numbers in a drastic way.
Closing Statements
I started doing this study when I found out that only 14% of men are over 6 feet tall and only 3.9% are over 6’2”. It was hilarious to find out that these women have already ruled out 99% of men with their ridiculous standards. This is even before they start judging your looks, personality, social status, likeability, generosity, alpha/beta qualities, and sexual performance. And they call us shallow?
This just proves that women having the option to choose their mate will be the end of civilization as they are only after a fraction of 1 percent of men. Go look up how many women will not date guys who don’t meet this rule. Sure women will settle down and marry some guy for his money but ALL of them are after this small fraction of men. A woman who has to settle for a man that doesn't meet this rule will always feel resentful towards him for not meeting her standards and will always have FOMO (Fear of missing out) on being with one of these men. No matter what, they will never be satisfied.
This study was fun as hell to do and I went a little overboard but it was fascinating to see how small the numbers were getting. Thanks for reading and share this with as many men as you can.
