I'm aware this can sound very basic to many here but it might be always useful for some bro out there.

I was doing my aerobics yesterday reading Rational Male: Positive Masculinity and it suddenly got this idea about the selective sense of humor that women enjoys most in men. More precisely, the one that works when flirting.

While clowning can be great to just enjoy yourself or improve the humor of the people around you, when coming to intersexual dynamics, women seem to respond very well and with sexual arousal to playful arrogance.

But is it playful arrogance the ultimate thing? or there is something deeper?

Why playful arrogance works?

Maybe is a subset of a wider category.

For that question, I'm seeing this as a good hypothesis:

The ultimate sense of humor that psychologically arouses women is to be playful with their hypergamous insecurity.

You can start gently and when a woman responds well, you can keep going and perhaps go more intense with the level of irony, sarcasm, etc. that should be tuned to her response and ethos.

A way to test this is to create jokes that play assuming their insecurity about something and how is it "a walk in the park" for you. This inevitably makes you to sound playfully arrogant but probably more than that.

It works because is a way to covertly signal the possibility of a security you have and they don't while keeping theirs hidden in a joke. When they positively react to those jokes, they are giving you material to emotionally reverse engineer their personality and ethos to some degree.

Something to use responsibly and yet have a lot of fun with it.

PS: this fits really well that idea of keeping her in your frame by treating her more or less as "your little sister", no?
