Here's what I mean.
Judging by multiple accounts and my own experiences, oneitis seems less and less like a state of mind and more of a chemical reaction.
You can fight it, you can rationalize it away, you can drown it out, but when you're scrolling through Facebook or IG and you see that one "special" girl's face, that pang hits you. You can make it go away, but you can't prevent it from arriving.
It's like an involuntary chemical process.
I don't expect you all to be psychologists, but I'd appreciate any insight on the matter.
