Sex and The City is some of the worst garbage that has ever been shown on TV. It has brainwashed millions of girls/women, and it's one of the main reasons why millennial women are so shallow, entitled and despicable. It was also a show that dehumanized men, which is why so many women nowadays have no respect for men, and why they see men as nothing but objects/tools.

Following the fictional glamorous lifestyles of vain shallow fickle women led nowhere? Color me shocked.

The reality is 4 women would unlikely remain friends for that long without backstabbing and bitching about whoever wasn't there at the time. They certainly wouldn't be able to afford their lifestyles unless they came from money and maintained a rotating stable of Mr. Bigs to sustain their expensive lifestyle of fashion and ridiculously overpriced food at trendy cafes and restaurants.

The other reality is the women behind the characters - the main star has been married for years, one of them is a lesbian, one of them has never been married, and one of them is angry and resentful of the main star.

But reality is not what the show was about as it was a woman's wet dream of living a champagne-fueled lifestyle of having an important job position (without working for the qualifications or working hard at that job), being the center of attention, wearing the latest fashion, dating rich successful men, staying in 5-star hotels and eating at the chicest of fancy restaurants.

It makes me laugh that this "dating columnist" (I pity any girl who took her advice) ruined her life trying to pursue this superficial lifestyle straight out of high school. She had nearly 20 years of it and nothing to show for it at the end (other than a mile of dick and high unrealistic expectations that her new lifestyle is not easily going to shed).

Here's the problem. One, this waste of space that should be charged to breathe oxygen fell for a fictional TV series and Sarah Jessica Parker from what I recall is married with kids and doesn't seem to be leaving so the verdict is. Women are done.

Also Kim Catrall is upset she gave up having kids to do this series. As rich as she is and as cool as she is I feel bad ( ish) but what do I know or care. Yolo right.

I watched that entire show with a girlfriend years ago and I ruined it for her with my commentary. They're all bad in some way but Carrie was by far the worst one of the bunch. Most women get caught up in the lifestyle dream but the show was a catalyst for so many women to adopt more entitlement.

It's hilarious this columnist is now dating someone "sensible" because the prince wouldn't marry her. You hope the guy has enough sense about getting married when you're older.
