Sure, but most people get confused when they try and simplify things. To some people eating a vat of ice cream makes them feel good and content. Or drinking an entire bottle of wine makes them feel good. Some people love the feeling of when their insulin is spiking. It's like taking a hit of heroine. Sugar is basically cocaine the way it rewards the brain... But then you crash hard. Most people who are overweight never think about how they're going to feel (shitty) afterwards. They only relish on how that big mac is making them feel RIGHT NOW when they're shoving it down their throats.

Diet (what you put inside your body) is EVERYTHING. I used to eat everything and anything and would simply say I could do it because I was working out three hours a day. But if I stopped working out or got injured and had to stop exercising, my gross, TV dinner, fast food, Häagen-Dazs after every meal, eating habits stayed the same.

Eating food with horrible ingredients that spike your insulin will cause mood swings, which will cause people to make irrational decisions (they'll deny they're doing this btw), which will carry over into making your life miserable without you even knowing it.... And all because you didn't haven't that cup or coffee to start your day.

We all that know that asshole who complains that they're in a mood because they didn't have their coffee, or get to have they cigarette break. God forbid if to you have a boss that constantly uses food/drug excuses which they take out on anyone within their radius.
