There's a lot to Nietzsche. His books are difficult as they're filled with allegory and powertalk. That said, his ideas are important.

Childhood

Like a lot of us, Nietzsche grew up blue pill. His father died when he was five, and he was brought up by his religious mother, sister, grandmother and two aunts. He was an introspective sickly child, who loved poetry and dance.

Atheist

At university, where he studied critical theology, he became an atheist. As with Red Pill ideas, this did not make him popular. Influenced by Schopenhauer' The World as Will and Idea, he began to realize there was a massive difference in how the world appears and how it actually works.

We would call this difference blue and red pill thinking.

Taking action

While doing his military service he wrote how, "all writing is useless that dos not contain a stimulus to activity". Again, with us, it is not as important to read Red Pill philosophy as it is to implement it.

Waking up

"I can tell by my own reaction to it that this book is harmful. But let him only wait and perhaps one day he will admit to himself that the same book has done him a great service by bringing out the hidden sickness of his heart and making it visible."

How often have we seen newbie white knights railing against TRP? How often have we seen them criticise us? Perhaps there reason is we are showing them what is wrong not with the world, but their perception of it - this is where their anger comes from.

Eternal Reoccurrence of the Same

This should help you when it comes to asking women out and taking risks. What if a demon should crawl onto your shoulder and says to you, "This life you're leading, the pain and suffering, every small and great event, what if you had to live it again and again for all eternity?"

Would you throw yourself upon the floor screaming at the demon, or would you now see an angel offering you the most amazing experience ever? Would you want to live your life again and again for all eternity?

Those times when you were in a club, and failed to ask a girl out - imagine being that person for all eternity. Failing time and again. This idea is to help you strive to become greater during every moment. Take that risk, go for that promotion, do that thing you've always dreamed of. Live life and embrace every moment of it.

Women

So to put it bluntly, Nietzsche lacked game and was pretty much MGTOW. He grew up surrounded by women, he asked one to marry him (and was rejected) and he visited a brothel where he contracted syphilis, which lead to his insanity in later life. While he was insane his sister Elizabeth milked his fame for every penny she could get, effectively putting him on display to the paying public.

In Human all Too Human, he believed in unicorns, "the perfect woman is a higher type of human than the perfect man, and also something much more rare".

Don't we all wish women were like this? Perfect in every way? And yet he understood their nature:

"What inspires respect for woman, and often enough even fear, is her nature, which is more “natural” than man’s, the genuine, cunning suppleness of a beast of prey, the tiger’s claw under the glove, the naiveté of her egoism, her uneducability and inner wildness, the incomprehensibility, scope, and movement of her desires and virtues."

He understood that women are a force of nature, and it's up to men to be stoic in a relationship. Those of us who have posted on XX Chromosome might relate to this:

"From the beginning, nothing has been more alien, repugnant, and hostile to woman than truth—her great art is the lie, her highest concern is mere appearance and beauty." (Aphorism 232)

And yet why do we want women?

"The true man wants two things: danger and diversion. Therefore he wants woman, the most dangerous plaything."

I sometimes read AskTRP and wonder if men getting married are doing so because they're turned on by how dangerous it is.

Virtue

Why do we praise virtue? Why do we praise hardworkers, the obedient, the chaste? We do it because we benefit from it. When a co-worker is 'helpful' we will praise him for making our lives easier. You might like to think about how women praise men for being a "gentleman".

Being a 'gentleman' in today's world means you're a victim and are being taken advantage of.

Imagine walking down the street and giving every tramp $5. Before the end of the week you would be broke. But what fool would do that?

Virtues will hurt you.

Let me say that again, being virtuous will hurt you.

Look at how Germany is trying to be seen as virtuous, letting in hundreds of thousands of refugees. How many of us have hurt ourselves because we want 'to be seen to do the right thing'.

Morality

Morality is subjective and based on the whims of society (the herd). Morality is social pressure protecting the weak individuals in society (Betas) and justifying how they live.

Understand morality is just another control mechanism, stopping you from sleeping with that married HB9 because the betas in society tell you it is 'wrong'.

In Marxist theory this is known as hedgemony, but it amounts to the same thing - controlling people not through laws but through ideas.

God is Dead?

Yeah, he's dead but we're still influenced by him. What Nietzsche meant was people no longer believe in god. Most people are atheists, but they still hold onto the beta morality mentioned above. We are all contaminated by Christian morality.

He saw Christianity as a slave religion where greed and envy were condemned, along with everything else slaves were unable to have: wealth, fame, women, fine clothes.

Poverty was reframed as humility.

The disabled are said to be heroic.

The chaste are virtuous.

The meek will inherit the Earth.

The obedient will be rewarded.

All lies to keep the slave happy. We have become a nation obsessed with the losers, those on food stamps, we are focused on the victims, watching poverty porn, trying to raise up the public's general happiness. When we should be following the roman religion of worshipping gods, the powerful and the successful. Fuck the poor, fuck the unlucky, worship greatness.

On Happiness

"What does not kill me will make me strong"

We live in a nihilistic age - what is the point of doing anything? What is important to realize is while Nietzsche was influenced by nihilists, he was far more optimistic than that.

He believed It is only by overcoming obstacles that we will find happiness. How often have you played a videogame, and used the cheat code? At first it's fun, but you don't have that same satisfaction when you complete it.

I like to recondition motorcycle engines - yes, I could buy one reconditioned, but I get more satisfaction and more happiness rebuilding my own. It is more satisfying climbing a mountain than being perched at the top with a helicopter. And I find it far more enjoyable to seduce a woman then to fap to p0rn.

It is through work and suffering that we can obtain happiness. If everything came easily to us (as they do with rich children) we would not value it.

To this end, I would say men who know suffering, who are influenced by TRP, who have had to struggle to learn game, who started out small and lifted. We are the lucky ones because we have had to earn our success. Ultimately we will be happier than naturals.

There are two paths in life: the ubermensche or the Last Man

The Last Man

"What is love? What is creation? What is longing? What is a star?" this asks the last man, and blinks"

In Thus Spoke Zarathustra he describes the last man. We call him blue pill. He is tired of life, takes no risks, and seeks only comfort and security. He is describing the typical castrated western male. Mediocrity is praised, everyone is equal and nothing is offensive.

This is the goal of today's society. To create a population filled with men who give up their passion and freedom in return for comfort, security and short term pleasure. Where slow universal suicide is called life. Where passion is replaced with prozac.

The Ubermensche, the Superman

"What is an ape to a man? A laughing-stock or a painful embarrassment. And just so shall man be to the Superman: a laughing stock or a painful embarrassment." -TSZ

Who do you want to evolve into? Really, it's worth taking time to think about this. The ubermensche is an idealized figure, in TRP we have our own Chad Thundercock (which doesn't sound as cool as 'ubermensche'). How, psychologically could you evolve to be the best you can be?

And that's the question. If we became psychologically superior, how would we behave? Nietzsche decided to find the people he most admired, focus on the qualities that made them who they are, and to emulate them. These people made their own values and did not rely on society to dictate them. They accept they need to be selfish. These people won't be jealous, will accept suffering and are humble.

And these people are hated by the Last Men

Perhaps the biggest take away is to have a mission in life. It is not enough to just remain alive, you must have a mission, something that drives you. In that mission you'll grow, and the more you suffer, the more you'll grow. By becoming more powerful, you will suffer, not just from overcoming obstacles, but the last men (blue pills) will resent you. But it is only by overcoming yourself, your internal resistance, you're natural desire to be a pussy, that you'll grow.

"To have a goal for which one does not hesitate, to risk every danger, to take upon oneself whatever is bad and worst: the great passion"(Will to Power)
