The attributes you're referring to come from personality, which is immutable.

They are Openness to new experience, and Conscientiousness. They will not ever change. You can overcome individual instances of experience through intelligence. In other words you can 'Beat Your Genes'. An example would be the drive to reproduce, yet I don't have kids.

The fact is, your innate drives have nothing to do with your happiness, they are simply there to increase your perceived odds of survival and reproduction.

Read about evolutionary psychology. Or if you do podcasts listen to the 'Beat Your Genes' podcast and scroll through the episodes to learn about personality. It clarified a lot for me.

To be honest you don’t need a book To high level procrastinate - read way of the superior man and or just follow your intuition - listen to it first , so you need quiet contemplation
