Anyone else always beta out of relationships intentionally?

I hate dumping girls so I typically just act super beta until they dump me. Anyone else have experience with this? I know it makes me a pussy but I just hate dumping girls.

Why do you hate dumping them? If it's not going to work, the sooner you tell them, the better for everyone.

[–]Purplegetraenk48 points49 points  (8 children) | Copy

Easier said than done..

[–]DerpJungler6 points7 points  (4 children) | Copy

Why not just ghost?

If you have to go out of your way and taylor tailor your personality to get dumped intentionally, it means you have already invested something.

If it's a plate, then you can just ghost.

Non-applicable on LTRs ofc

[–]Purplegetraenk29 points30 points  (1 child) | Copy

Dumping a plate is not a problem, Dumping a Ltr isn’t easy. Ghost? They will stalk your ass, come ringing your doorbell and do all other sorts of crazy annoying shit

[–]DerpJungler-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

I agree. But since OP worded his post in such way, that it makes it seem like he does this often, I assumed he's referring to plates and not LTRs

[–]OldPinkertonGoon2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

A tailor is a person who makes custom clothing. Taylor is a woman notorious for dumping men.

OP tailors his personality so that he will get taylored.

[–]KingGerbz2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Tailor is the correct spelling in this context. Taylor sounds retarded.

[–]ocebitkaj-4 points-3 points  (2 children) | Copy

Never have I seen a sentence that’s less RP than this.

[–]Physio_Tool10 points11 points  (1 child) | Copy

Maybe some guys are honest on here and arent cartoonish gronks.

[–]ocebitkaj3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

The whole point of TRP is accepting that things are hard and knowing that being able to do them in spite of it separates you from the pack.

[–]Pilomtrees98 points99 points  (1 child) | Copy

Gay ass nigga, I feel that. I did this back in the day lmao

Yea after a while you lose motivation to hold frame. You fall back into your comfort zone. You do whatever, be whatever. When that happens, they leave with the quickness.

[–]ging-furikusu12 points13 points  (13 children) | Copy

I found a girl that i can be in my comfort zone with and be as much beta as i want and never have to hold frame anymore and she still stays and loves me. Is that how you measure shes a keeper ?

[–]Krebota29 points30 points  (0 children) | Copy

No that's when a woman has settled/hit a wall. You're just lucky it's on your turn.

[–]Semantics12723 points24 points  (7 children) | Copy

Stays how long? You only know what is happening currently but take my word for it, that shit will change as soon as she finds a better deal. Then you’ll be posting about it like everyone else.

[–]Ghoat17 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

“She started doing late nights at the office”

[–]ging-furikusu3 points4 points  (5 children) | Copy

She might never find a better deal. She probably Believes that herself thats what matters

[–]myfirsttimecoding8 points9 points  (4 children) | Copy

Until she gets that new job or gets approached by a guy more mysterious than you who’s poop she hasn’t smelt yet. Then she will branch swing. We will be here for your asktrp post when that happens

Most people here are 'r selected' meaning their brains are wired wrong and they only care for promiscuity and bachelor life of itching a scratch.

A keeper is any woman who you can reproduce healthy, strong and sane kids until they are in teen years and will not drive you crazy or mess up your finances and kids.

This increases radically if a woman is a virgin or had only 1 or 2 partners (virgins almost never divorce their partners while for 1 or 2 chances are still less then normal), decreases more if you both are smart (have masters degree) and are not high in trait negative emotionality.

Basically all stuff men here complain about with women fits almost completely under negative emotionality. It means a person is prone to anxiety, worrying, fear she is missing out (on a better looking, more gentle/bad/mysterious, richer man), means she will test her surrounding and relations all the time (shit tests) etc etc.

Basically high negative emotionality (often called neuroticism) reliable means shorter and less stable relationships of any kind.

A keeper is smart, low in negative emotionality, has low n count, values collectivistic virtues (honor, loyalty, truth, SELFSACRIFICE) and comes from a quality background that included friends who are not promiscuous and don't condone promiscuity.

Woman simply tolerating everything you do is not good mother. Kids need to be disciplined and level headed, not whimsical and lazy.

[–]RPOpenUp2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

No, most probably it means she sees you as a possible provider. Which also means she "loves" you

[–]z2a1-90 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

lol true

[–]whereisthescrew-2 points-1 points  (0 children) | Copy

Don’t assume it’s going to last forever lol. Also i’m not sure it works with a 10 in her 20s

[–]when_its_too_late57 points58 points  (4 children) | Copy

I found that the after effects are roughly the same. If you dump her then she goes and tells everyone you're a piece of shit. If she dumps you she goes and tells everyone is because you were a piece of shit.

[–]FranckShmibery38 points39 points  (1 child) | Copy

Catch-22. Might as well be a piece of shit.

[–]thesoloronin3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

Thanks. Exactly what I was thinking too

[–]dkod0662 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Light switch effect

[–]Purplegetraenk37 points38 points  (2 children) | Copy

Yeah that shit doesn’t work well, takes too long. Best way is to tell them it’s over - they will cry and throw a tantrum... then you say: “I don’t want to be in a relationship ever again but maybe one day we can have sex” Then they will feel disgusted and anger and leave you

[–]420chiefofZEP5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

Holy shit thats evil haha

[–]z2a1-90 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

[–]Poopybuttholeman112 points13 points  (3 children) | Copy

This is probably the kindest way of ending a relationship. It’s willingly and knowingly giving them the power.

Just make sure you have plates on the side.

I’d personally say that if they stay during this, then it’s a good test for how much they care and how much the attraction was based on you playing it Red Pill versus actual substantiative bonding.

Maybe even give it a chance if they stay while you act beta af

[–]Vofz8 points9 points  (1 child) | Copy

Lmao can you imagine acting beta as fuck and the girl still want to be with you?

Is that even possible? Unless you're a millionaire or a 10 I guess

[–]Poopybuttholeman19 points10 points  (0 children) | Copy

Depends on how holistically attractive you are, the strength of your bond and the relative time scale you act like that for.

Tbh, she’d probably say “you’ve changed” or “for some reason I just don’t feel that way about this anymore” - which is actually pretty fair

In either circumstance, she’d be more inclined to cheat or branch climb if someone else came her way

[–]Dodobird170 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Yea this is a good side effect, if she sticks by you when you act super beta you know she's a keeper. Hasn't happened to me yet though lol.

[–]hibloodstevia6 points7 points  (3 children) | Copy

It sounds to me that in relationships you end up getting attached, acting beta, and then in reflection decide you did it on purpose?

[–]LukeVTruth3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

Lol that’s what I’m reading too. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read this exact statement on this sub. Every time I roll my eyes. The male hamster is real too but instead of protecting feelings it protects ego.

[–]Dodobird171 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

Obviously you've never been with a truly crazy bitch. Sometimes the safest way to get out is to beta out, if you dump them they might go insane and try to ruin your life.

[–]hibloodstevia0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I don't see how there's any point to bringing that up since you said it's a trend with you.

Are you inferring that every woman you date is a crazy bitch? Because I'm confused, your post seem to be a lot about what you do on an ongoing basis.

Not about something to do in a specific situation, such as when you're with a crazy bitch.

[–]DaftOdyssey7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

Of course. Not that I have done it, but if I was in a LTR with a really good girl with low red flags, but I just didn't connect with her, I'll beta the fuck out her so I won't scar her, aka alpha widow.

[–]Pimpcool4206 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy

You know, "let's just be friends" works pretty well in most cases. That's why women use it (they don't like being direct either).

The effects are the same. I LJBF a girl on April 11th and she'd died her hair crazy colors by the 16th. Didn't even invite her "friend" to her birthday which she was excitedly telling me about a week before.

[–]ChemicalGiraffe5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

This doesn't make sense. Majority of men out there are beta af yet relationships go for years. Sounds like a waste of time. A lot of women are actually looking for betas to be in relationships with considering most natural alphas are assholes and don't care.

[–]whereisthescrew2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Statistically, the large majority of divorces are initiated by women. I believe it is because men are much more inclined to complacency and enduring mediocre relationships than women. It all comes down to the fact that the average woman has much manier options on her plate just being passive than the average dude who must proactively hunt for women and invest substantial ressources to make it happen. The dudes therefore have more incentive to be lazy and stay in half assed relationships just for the relative comfort and easy sex.

I’ve beta out several times of relationships but i won’t repeat. Being on the wrong side of a breakup isn’t good for self confidence even if deep down you knew it was due.

[–]B1NGO262 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

That’s some childish beta shit tbh, just man up and fuckin do it. Have some respect for other ppl and yourself, holy shit.

[–]Pacheko172 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

My friend used to have tons of bitches after him, and whenever he felt like banging someone, he could just do it. So I never understood why he just acted so dumb around some of them and ignored them, my beta mind didn't understand that not every girl is worth it and you might as well just say fuck it.

[–]B1NGO262 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Tbh I think it depends a bit on how you view confrontation, you can either drag it on or just say fuck it, bye.

[–]DidYouUseAJimmy3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

Do you beta your way into them?

[–]2319Skew1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Yes. It's an easy out for crazy. If she dumps you, she moves on and you don't have to worry about her showing up at your place at 2 am drunk wanting to make things work, cops don't need to be called and you can get a good night's rest.

[–]brennyflocko1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

I usually take them out to a nice spaghetti dinner and let the sauce get all over my face so they think I’m gross and dump me

[–]NightTerror61 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Don’t get into LTRs with women you won’t want to date for a long time?

[–]Cerohero3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

Men are suppressed, we get lambasted with feminist ideals. Their weapons are social media and the army of dickless pussy thirst beta beggars.

[–]H_Crush2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

I don't dump them. I prove them it doesn't work anymore. Sometimes if change is possible, we try it; if not, it's pretty clear it doesn't work anymore. Even those times when change is possible, it's usually just postponing the end.

[–]spartan_samurai2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

I used to do that but it never ends well, you waste so much energy and time for breakup to happen. The reason you might hate dumping is because of self guilt and you don't want to see yourself as pump & dump guy.

It's like you are working for a company where you are not happy, you don't feel like resigning because in your head you are the loyal employee but if you do anything wrong the company doesn't give you second chance and might fire you straight away. It's aways better to leave with your head high.

So next time don't think too much and do the dumping.

[–]michael_in_chains1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

That's some beta male strategies. I would personally never do that.

[–]mrrooftops0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Your lizard brain will do what your conscious one can't.

[–]Allin_Vain0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

omg i'm ashamed at myself for how much i can relate to that.

But it's more like "as the relationship goes on i would give up more and more controll and just say yes or be wierd about everything.. "

but i cannot say that i did it intentionally - as soon as i get out of an relationship i get back to being "me" .. ..somehow i can't get the thought out of my head that this maybe just an unconscious reaction of the mind because you "don't need" to be that much of an alpha anymore if you have found your partner. I'm not an expert on this subject but it sure is interesting af and nature is sometimes strange in some ways.

that said, the last few months i got alot of experience at dumping grils at first i was kinda nervous but it paid off. You gain a huge load of self respect out of it, it's incredible.

maybe just try it once ? (lol this sounds like i want to convince you to take drugs)

[–]mysteryspoN0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Yeah I’ve used this tactic before lol

[–]robot3000_010 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Pussy. Debasing your own integrity.

[–]TRP_Scepter0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Just dump them. I was in an LTR last summer and when she got too clingy I got repulsed by her and cut it off. She threw it a fit and all but it was quick and easy, plus I didn't have to act beta.

[–]mgtowthrowww0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I was common-law married to a girl once and did this just to prevent lawyers from being triggered. I highly suspected if I just tossed her ass out on the street, I'd get a court summons shortly afterwards.

It was miserable and barely worth it. If I knew then what I know now, I'd probably just risk lawyers.

[–]skuntyy0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Do you hate dumping them because you don’t want to be alone even if it’s a shit relationship? Or because you’re Vinci Chase and just apathetic? Imo, in any relationship (friendship or romantic) you don’t want to be in it if it doesn’t work. End that shit, sooner the better typically.

[–]secureMPC0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Of course I don't know you, but what you are saying sounds suspect. We (humans) are incredible at rationalising our actions, see this for an incredible example

I think you are acting more 'beta' because you want the fantasy to be real. You let your guard completely down and show the girls the true 'beta' that you still are inside and when they don't like it you protect yourself with this lie.

[–]Snowboard180 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Sounds like way more effort than just ghosting her lol.

[–]WIA20XX0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Dumping a hot chick over her bullshit makes your posture better and increases your odds of winning the lottery.

[–]PachoHerrera0-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

Nah, I have no problem dumping them. They would dump me in a heartbeat if they found something better.

[–]Vofz-1 points0 points  (2 children) | Copy

What beta things exactly you do or say?

[–]Pimpcool4202 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

I've done this; if you're in a country with anti-virus lockdowns right now then it's a perfect time.

The best tactics are online; tell them you miss them and don't miss other girls, ask them about their day every day, beg for nudes, react in a sappy/cute way if they send something cute, vent and complain about whatever's on your mind. It all kills attraction very quickly.

[–]Cerohero0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

He must got soften and considerate

[–]MisterRoid-2 points-1 points  (0 children) | Copy

I can also be manipulative at times, but you are probably going to fuck yourself up mentally by internalizing some of the beta traits in the long run. Seems better to me to just end it without any finesse and handle the shitstorm.

[–]OfficerWade-2 points-1 points  (0 children) | Copy

Yeah that what you call a Greyhound divorce because you’re too much of a nice guy to break up with her you wait for her to get hit by a bus

[–]1DonaldBaelish-2 points-1 points  (0 children) | Copy

Grow up.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
