Has your opinion on today's music changed after discovering TRP?

So recently I was listening to some random music on Spotify's top charts, and as I was listening to the lyrics, it clicked as to how bluepilled, outright manipulative and "empowering women" some of those songs are, especially songs from female artists like Dua Lipa, Ava Max, Nicki Minaj, Cardi N, etc.

I personally cannot stand to listen to these songs anymore after discovering TRP, the lyrics bother me so much that nowadays I just instantly skip these. I wonder if anyone has had a similar experience?

While I agree, if morons continue to play homemaker with Chad's booty call and get divorce raped, no fucks given. Insert Nelson muntz meme.

If you want more masculine music listen to Future, Moneybagg Yo, Young Dolph.

These rappers are the opposite of simp stuff

[–]GeuseyBetel25 points26 points  (0 children) | Copy

Its funny... all my life I HATED rap. I was a guitar player and liked rock, alt, and later on more technical metal. I despised rap as "stupid people music".

That slowly started to change after my "Red Pill Awakening." To the point today that I absolutely LOVE it. I still listen to all the stuff I always listened to, but 85% of the time driving around or at the gym, I'm jamming to some rap. It just gets me in this masculine, baller, confident mindset.

But yeah... Future is great. Like what I've heard from Dolph and Moneybagg too.

[–]SupremeBBC9 points10 points  (2 children) | Copy

Young Dolph is immense. His protégé named Key Glock has some heat this year. He released a tape called Son of a Gun today... You will not be disappointed.

[–]usedtimecapsule8 points9 points  (0 children) | Copy

I was not disappointed

[–]fargolingo70 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Glock and Dolph are amazing. Dum and summer is a classic.

I wouldn't quite say opposite, they still lack virtue which is a very masculine trait.

[–]Metron-53 points54 points  (1 child) | Copy

Probably makes me hate mainstream music even more but that’s just me.

[–]AssassiN18[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children) | Copy

True, I was never fully into it, but now I can't stand it.

[–]Cerohero83 points84 points  (30 children) | Copy

Yeah simping, glorifying women, kissing their feet. I listen to Tyga Chris brown and metal music that awakens the dormant power.

[–]y0ussefhesham64 points65 points  (11 children) | Copy

Future is the most redpilled rapper imo

[–]bojack_horsemam33 points34 points  (5 children) | Copy

Future's music brings out the hustler/player in me

[–]DerpJungler16 points17 points  (3 children) | Copy

His newest album "High off life" is full of bangers. Takes me back to old school Future from beast mode.

I also like listening to UK Drill music, especially during workouts.

But yeah, tbh, 9/10 female singers I can't stand listening to more than a minute

Interesting point. I listen to a lot of trance abd Downtempo and the focal point of the lyrics tends to just be sex, hazy drug memories but never anything particularly touching on romance or loss unless you get into the really corny trance lyrics which are totally blue pill lol.

Like I literally walk around my apartment singing Armin van Buuren and ATB lyrics to my girlfriend because they are so unbelievably cheesy

[–]Transport1270 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

I was a hardcore trance addict. Now I can’t stand most of trance music. But I still love psychedelic-trance, which is different from any music in the planet. Uplifting trance and chillstep music are good too.

[–]ExaltedR3V3NG312 points13 points  (1 child) | Copy

I always preferred songs based on the instrumentals rather than just the vocals as most people do, so maybe that's why my "core" music tastes (rock, metal, DnB, synthwave...) haven't changed that much.

What are you talking about? He’s every bit a rock star as he ever was.

[–]jm5136 points37 points  (2 children) | Copy

Not just the pedestal shit.

I'm an old fart that likes music from the 60s and 70s. One of my regular listens was Townes Van Zandt.

Nowadays, there's only a few songs of his that I can tolerate. The rest are of the woe is me variety. 'Gotta stop the pain' blah blah. You're a man ffs, pain is part of the deal. Grow the fuck up. Except that he died before growing up.

[–]CaptainFajita2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

Yeah, I'm old too, and am thoroughly versed in all the classic rock from the 60s thru the 80s. Many of those musicians were classically trained, and their music reflects it. A lot of it is great to listen to, and I never paid too much attention to the lyrics, other than it adding to the song as another musical texture. But even then, it's mostly about pining for lost loves, breakup pain, can't live without you, etc, etc, ad nauseum. Never occurred to me until I found TRP.

Every fucking Dua Lipa song ever.

But it helps that I listen to songs mostly for the aesthetic aspect rather than to "relate" to the lyrics. Many of her songs are pleasing to the ears if you ignore the garbage context of the lyrics.

[–]merunas1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

That bitch is teaching girls red pill strategies but for women like not being submissive, not reaching out, being a bitch and shit like that. Disgusting.

[–]NabroleonBonaparte21 points22 points  (1 child) | Copy

The issue I have with BP messages in music isn’t the lyrics themselves, it’s the lack of effort put into music overall.

When you expressed pain in your lyrics for a woman, it was supposed to emphasize the drama of the story being told. Not just simp for some everyday thot.

Imo, we didn’t have fat acceptance bs back in the day, so when you heard a song about a guy upset about a girl, you imagined that she was a unicorn. Somewhere along the way, people began interpreting it as you should feel that way about EVERY girl.

In conclusion, most mainstream music sucks both in content and instrumentals. Fuck off with your formulaic pop melodies and goofy dancing, actually create complex music, then get back to us.

[–]dtyler862 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

100%. All of the music is just a half assed attempt at money grabbing.

[–]AegonTheC0nqueror7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

Future will clear you right back up.

[–]dtyler8623 points24 points  (5 children) | Copy

Oh 100%. It’s not even just the lyrical content, it’s the fact that as a society we have started awarding mediocrity. Drake. Drake is the absolute pinnacle of complete shit quality music, songwriting, lyrical content, people don’t like it because it’s good, they love it because it’s repetitively shoved down their throat and they don’t strive for anything better. This is about as parallel to someone living a very blue pill lifestyle as it could be. Don’t challenge anything, don’t dig deeper, don’t think, just look to the person to your left and do what they do, like what they like

[–]mrmaika1012 points13 points  (3 children) | Copy

I completely disagree. It just seems like Drake doesn’t appeal to your taste. Drake is definitely a blue pilled artist but that doesn’t mean his listeners have to be. If the music is catchy and makes me lift more in the gym (like his old shit) then I’ll listen. Not everything is a blue pill conspiracy

[–]dtyler866 points7 points  (2 children) | Copy

I can agree with your last couple of sentences, I have also been out places where my friends who know how much I despise Drake haven’t surprised me because the music on the radio or at least being played where we were actually resembled rap.

I don’t wanna sound like one of those jaded and jealous failed Musician types, but I studied music and worked in the music industry, I still produce music and I’m still very much an audio engineer, I can say from the simplistic song writing to the production value in the lazy vocal delivery, Drakes fame and Reach is heavily reliant on the marketing budget. There are so many artists that if you woke up one day and found it Spotify was branded so it was inescapably obvious that this artist existed and they wanted you to hear their music, they would be at least as famous as Drake

[–]mrmaika103 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

Well Drake is arguably one of the best marketed rappers of all time so yeah, you’re not wrong. He made a song specifically to blow up on TikTok so he knows what he’s doing and who his audience is. I still think that if you listen to his old shit you’ll see it’s not as hollow as it is now, but even his new shit can be good.

[–]dtyler86-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

I get it. I love the band Rammstein and everyone just knows them for one song in the 90s. Rammstein is an amazing band but over-the-top ridiculous and also knows how to market themselves as being as controversial and goofy as possible to a point it masks their talent. I’m just speaking from the point of you of someone who hears songs like God‘s plan over and over and over and over and over again

Not really, no. I’m really into hip hop & rap and idc what it’s talking about as long as it sounds good. Listening to R&B occasionally doesn’t suddenly transform me into a simp either. If you can’t separate music from its message then you got some bigger issues

[–]volcanolairbadguy2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

I listen to edm and old school rap. Every mainstream piece is cucked.

[–]Protest_the_caravan2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

welcome to the club.
on the other hand you can listen to music selectively. Meaning is relative or subjective, and if you are able to do some brain-gymnastics in how you understand the lyrics or the message, you can have very powerful messages delivered to you that fit your wants and needs.

[–]furcryingoutloud2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy

Blue pill is today's norm. Hell, it's been the norm for many, many years. It pretty much started in the early 80's I think.

Here's a piece of advice. Don't share these thoughts with everyday people. You'll be ostracized for not going along with the mainstream hive mind. Keep these and all controversial thoughts to yourself.

This is always the wrong hill to die on.

[–]merunas0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Fuck them. Be controversial, share your message. Just like you will push people away from you, you'll bring new people that resonate with the truth.

[–]furcryingoutloud0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Yeah, my problem is that I don't feel any obligation to feed people the red pill. Fuck them is right. Only I say fuck them before I feel the need to inform them of their blue pilled ways. They can find the red pill on their own. Not my job. At my age, FTW.

[–]2319Skew4 points5 points  (16 children) | Copy

Anyone got some red pill song recommendations like "No role modelz" by J. cole?

[–]HollowLegMonk7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

A lot of rappers are red pilled AF. Like Jeru the Damaja, he has two songs called Da Bitches and Me Or The Papes and dude breaks it down, he talks about hypergamy. Jay Z has a song about spinning plates called Girls Girls Girls. Boo Booheads by Del tha Funky Homosapien and Gang Starr - Ex To The Next are about nexting girls. There are so many hip-hop songs about TRP.

It’s funny too because you always hear blue pilled dudes complaining about girls liking hip-hop because it’s misogynistic, but that’s exactly why they like it. Unconsciously they are attracted to it.

From the golden era of rap. The song is about strippers strictly speaking, but applies to women in general, especially the last verse.

[–]TheGirlGetter9000-2 points-1 points  (0 children) | Copy

Here's a couple must-listens:

"Undying Love" - Nas (RP lens of a BP situation)

"Kevin's Heart" - J Cole (man's natural instincts)

"One Like Equals" - Token (how social media effects women. Honestly a lot of Token songs have some RP qualities. He's a good upcoming artist.)

[–]throwmrwaway6 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy

Eminem's superman all the way boys, and pretty much all of his music specially the old one

''Bitch i' mma kill you, you don't wanna fuck with me, girls neither, you're nothing but a slut to me''

[–]i-am-the-prize1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

Yup, even 'normal' songs where a dude is pining for a woman and/or trying to 'win her over' are now comical and pathetic.

Makes me slyly happy, knowing the majority of our competition is still being programmed to supplicate and being taught act for the good of the system, not for themselves.

[–]merunas0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Yeah those songs... Pathetic. I can't believe that super famous singers say such cringy shit when they can get any girl they want.

[–]DoesItMatterTooYou1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

There are all sorts of whiny "I can't live without you" crap that explain so much. Not just modern music either.. even 80s rock ballads, some favorite bands of mine, are so much BP.

[–]zephenrage1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Yeah, I’m into various sub genres of Heavy Metal and I find myself listening less and less to the blue pill stuff I grew up listening to. I still have a sentimental attachment to that stuff, especially the 80’s hair bands, because I grew up on that and I have fond memories at concerts and what not. But I do see the artists through a different lens although I do still enjoy the songs if the rhythms and melodies are good. What I’m having a hard time with is getting into new music with blue pill lyrics. I would say that’s how TRP has affected my musical preferences.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

Even if I was properly TRP'd already (I am learning), I still prefer stuff like ac/dc and metallic. Nothing like a bit of hell and death!! Modern music is just so shit and follows the same trend for lyrics. You are right, I didn't look at it like that before.

[–]bigtoeneedhelp2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Listen to trap and drill music. It's all very red pilled.

[–]arixxx_4 points5 points  (2 children) | Copy

I used to love Khalid and Juice WRLD. Now that I play them, I kind of cringe. I love the emotion they convey since I’m a producer but damn, I don’t agree with a damn word they say anymore. I’ve been bumping future, 2Pac, and a lot of Travis Scott. 90’s rap music is a must.

[–]GeuseyBetel5 points6 points  (1 child) | Copy

Juice WRLD was talented af... but agreed. Love his music but can only handle it in doses. I'm tryna be happy and confident not all despressed and emotional.

[–]arixxx_2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Can’t deny that. His worth ethic was on top of the charts, just like Pac. That’s why it killed me when both died at a young age. I admire them for that work ethic.

Feline, Ball, Young God, and Want To go crazy. I still bump those from Juice. Songs like Slasher, Let Her Leave, Flaws and Sins were songs I used to always play but I can’t stand em anymore. As much as I loved songs from Juice, Tyler, SZA, and Victor Internet, that stuff doesn’t appeal to me anymore 🥱. Kendrick, Lil Uzi, and Kanye is where it’s at.

[–]NeverLace2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Has made me respect hiphop more, but sometimes a song is just a song and I ignore the message. What are we not gonna wear blue anymore? We bloods now?

[–]GetBehindMeSatan6661 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy

especially songs from female artists like Dua Lipa, Ava Max, Nicki Minaj, Cardi N, etc. I personally cannot stand to listen to these songs anymore after discovering TRP

Wait... you could listen to this dog shit before finding out about TRP???? Even most the suggestions here are absolute dog shit.

[–]AssassiN18[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

Haha ofc not, but it's mainstream music that you hear on the radio/parties

[–]GetBehindMeSatan666-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

I see, Popular music that gets played at parties and on the radio makes my fucking ears bleed. Modern country music is the absolute worst. Pretty sure im going to be the one that has to kill Luke Bryan

[–]Noodlesoupe21 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

I don’t really give a fuck as long as it sounds good

[–]DirtyBastard131 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy

I was thoroughly blue pilled until the latter half of college. I enjoyed the popular music, had been raised by pop culture. I thought the music was good or maybe i just wanted to be accepted and not a wierdo outcast. I thought that it was an example of how to be, and that it was normal. Seriously tried the "baby give me eveything tonight because we might not get tomorrow" line on someone. It went as you'd expect.

My red pilling began when i discovered RoK after a bad breakup. Part of my red pilling was waking up to the occult/satanic/illuminati imagery in pop music, which i why i can't enjoy Katy Perry and Lada Gaga anymore, knowing the Hollyweird homosexual globalist agenda, pedo stuff they support.

Your female performer is a whore. They've always been, if you listen to the lyrics.

Taylor Swift is Garbage. Nicki Minaj is Garbage. With very few exceptions today's music is garbage.

[–]Transport1270 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Lady Gaga is different. I hate popular mainstream music, but lady Gaga has unique talent. I would not compare her with regular popular artists

[–]PinacoladaSauce1 point2 points  (4 children) | Copy

No. I feel like people use TRP as an excuse to hate shit. I don’t care if the song are blue pilled, I don’t care what someone else does with their life. I’m going to do me and I enjoy dancing and singing to all kinds of shit, from metal, to country, to rap, to pop, to edm.

I don’t even really know what you mean by BP music from women, like talking about having sex? That’s RP we know the true nature of women. You’re just using TRP as an excuse to hate everyday life

[–][deleted]  (3 children) | Copy

[deleted]

[–]PinacoladaSauce1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Yep exactly what you said. They get caught up trying to be what they perceive as alpha instead of being their own man. It’s funny because TRP is based on seeing things in society 80% of people miss yet I still feel like 80% of the people in this community still act the same as each other. A lack of individuality

[–]merunas0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

It doesn't have to be all or nothing. The problem is that it's too easy to get addicted to those BP songs because they are literally everywhere always at the top of the charts.

That's why we gotta remember to listen to real songs.

[–]cfbovernfl1 point2 points  (5 children) | Copy

Not really, given that most men on radio are writing these types of songs, too. Female artists aren't trying to "get you" somehow, and if something as simple as a good tune influences you that much you might have to seek out therapy.

[–]mrmaika101 point2 points  (4 children) | Copy

Absolutely agreed. If music is completely changing the way you think that’s not a normal thing. Seek therapy because there must be some underlying issues

[–]ControlBlue-1 points0 points  (3 children) | Copy

If music is completely changing the way you think that’s not a normal thing

Do you guys think before writing things like that?

Music is an integral part of Culture, and Culture is probably the most Human you can get on this planet.

Every. freaking. group of people on this people developed music, you think they did it to pass time? No, it's beause it's ingrained in human behavior and its the best way to change it. You have a whole part of your brain devoted to recognize and appreciate rythm and such, and be influenced by it.

You cannot get anything better than music to change the way people think, look at concerts and such and the effects they have on people.

[–]cfbovernfl1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy

We're not arguing that music can't have an impact on you. It certainly can. Our point was that if music lyrics are causing you the anger/disgust that OP is experiencing, you most likely have some past negative memories or internal demons that should be released thru a session with a psychologist. Damning yourself to never listen to "blue pill" music (which probably constitutes over 90% of today's music, so good luck finding RP music) is most definitely not normal.

[–]ControlBlue0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Damning yourself to never listen to "blue pill" music (which probably constitutes over 90% of today's music, so good luck finding RP music)

You are just lazy, don't project that laziness unto others. I have been ignoring pop, and defacto blue pill, music for decades now, it's not that hard.

is most definitely not normal.

I think it's perfectly normal, so either it's me that need to see a psychologist or it's you.

[–]cfbovernfl0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

u/TRPCops please give this guy a vacation to see a psychologist.

[–]tojesamothrowaway0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Luckily most of the stuff I listen to has little to no lyrics

[–]mikkeldaman0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Not really, no. Commercial music is intended to appeal to everyone. Catchy tune, simplistic lyrics. If I enjoy it, I don't care about the message. Also even undisputed seducers such as Elvis or Mick Jagger have some bluepilled lyrics such as "I am your slave".

[–]MrDoritos_0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Hey OP what do you listen to? I listen to a lot of rock and metal. Rammstein is probably the most bluepilled band I listen to. Helloween and Devildriver are pretty good.

[–]AssassiN18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Black Sabbath, Motley Crue, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin and a bunch of other 60s, 70s rock bands.

In terms of today'a stuff, Dubstep, Synthwave and occasionally some heavy metal if I'm in the mood. Never listen to mainstream pop on my own, not because of the BP messages but I personally don't enjoy it. The fact that I pointed out it is so BP is just an observation I made recently.

[–]2redhawkes0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

it clicked as to how bluepilled, outright manipulative and "empowering women" some of those songs are, especially songs from female artists like Dua Lipa, Ava Max, Nicki Minaj, Cardi N, etc.

That's exactly the goal. Those marionettes are brainwashing you with feministic and globohomo shit. On repeat. They don't even hide it, it's even in the music videos, signs and symbols.

Once you put the red lenses on, you'll see it everywhere. Most of the songs are about riding the cc, alpha widows etc, RP textbook.

[–]Snowboard180 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I used to be into country music, Jesus Christ it’s bad.

[–]rn78890 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

There’s countless shitty options to name, but Shawn Mendez takes the cake. He’s the most blue pilled shitty artist available today, in my opinion. And it’s gotten worse since discovering TRP.

[–]pdiggs15000 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

That has always been the problem with Top 40. Why do you think Jazz is no longer popular? Unless it is some chick singing some romantic barf?

The music industry is catered to women, and this has always been the case. Look at the 60's-70s, sure we had badass songs from the Stones, Beatles, the Doors, but most of their top hits is that song about "love", about "that girl", blah blah blah. Simping Sells!

[–]five_eight0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

TRP ruined Boston, the Go-go's, and much of Meat Loaf.

[–]Srv1103980 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Yeah, it really made changed me perspective but one gotta understand that music is entertainment and detach from wathever it is promoting. However, I ended up listening to only hip hop cause of all the simping on ither genres.

[–]nandemonaidattebayo0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

hip hop is the foundation of the red pill. Oldskool rappers were who gave me the mindstate on life, women etc.

[–]Wilson-AOL0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Wow, people did not mention Night Lovel, Shahmen.

[–]Wilson-AOL0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Curious why people did not mention Shahmen, Night Lovel, Kaleo (i know it is not rap or hip/hop), Imagine Dragons, DMX, Moccasin Creek, NF and others.

Not every artist has 100% all songs RP but those people that I mentioned have a lot. Shahmen and Night Lovel are underground, I get it, with Shahmen being more popular now but, you can't say there is no good music.

Also, all of us were BP, artists also, and as mention before by others, just going and blasting with RP it will never work.

[–]Phontomz0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

They’re everywhere. It’s probably THE theme of most of today’s pop songs, forget those crazy bitches and they’re stupid shit.

[–]cracksniffer6660 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Cardi N?... What does the N stand for, NRape?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

I listen to Electronic Music Genres. No Lyrics Only Feelings.

[–]Transport1271 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Same here. I enjoy psychedelic-trance and chillstep

[–]infinitecitationx0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Just listen to some things old gangster rap

[–]Revere_Tha_MC0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I rap as well as work in the recording industry it used to bother me quite a bit. Nowadays though, I think I've developed mental blocks against this shit.

[–]ledsdeadbaby0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Due Lipa has some great tracks but I’m not one to listen to lyrics. I mainly just dig the overall sound of songs.

[–]3soxfoxy0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Listen to Pantera. Makes me feel like a King

[–]LosTheHost0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

You want a red pill song? Listen to "It's Aight Bitch" by Trae.

[–]superomar130 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

lol of course, but I don't hate it. Just enjoy it for the entertainment factor lol ,don't hold a grudge against the music and pity the fools who take it to heart lol

[–]Endorsed Contributorleftajar0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

It's all degenerate, r-selected dogshit.

[–]merunas0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Soooo true and not only there are tons of those feminist songs but they start to fuck with your brain and make you think differently.

Don't even listen to those songs. When I hear some bluepilled feminist bullshit I immediately skip the song. It's disgusting what they do.

[–]Transport1270 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I love EDM music. As a producer, I love the instrumental part of music

[–]DrunkOldBear0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Well, don't forget Mr Big: I'm the one who wants to be with you (I'm the one, yeah) Deep inside I hope you feel it too (feel it too) Waited on a line of greens and blues (waited on a line yeah) Just to be the next to be with you.

Blue pilled, friend zone, cuck forevah.

[–]bionix900 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Not really. I've hated the ear raping noise that passes for today's music for a long time.

Ariana grande has some horrible shit out there. Even Lady Gaga come to think of it has some dumb stuff. "Poker Face" is all about being a slut. Gross.

I really like Smashing Pumpkins and Circa Survive, and I think the lyrics that sound like they might be blue pill are meant to be open ended questions.

"Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage" A smashing pumpkins hit that everybody knows. Perhaps it's not self unaware.

"Talk about it write it down but don't ask for help. I can't be honest with even myself. Do you ever wish you were somebody else?" Circa Survive song. Sounds like "I can't take the pain" a little bit but also sounds like an open ended question. I don't want to be somebody else, and I also find it hard to be honest with myself sometimes, so it seems like a circle of questioning that's put in the song to make you question stuff.

"He can't read my poker face" Okay so now we're back to lady Gaga. Is the song glorifying being a slut or is it about how much it sucks to be a slut? Do blue pilled women think as much as blue pilled men? Do women that get lots of sex think less than men who get none, and therefore women won't think about lyrics like this as much as men think about lyrics directed towards them respectively? (Even if the song isn't directed towards either specifically)

Sounds like songs may generally be written to be interpreted differently by many. That way they can garner a larger audience. Don't you think?

[–]Thefreeman911-2 points-1 points  (1 child) | Copy

You have to be careful with some of that alternative rock man. I love Smashing Pumpkins as well as The Cure and Radiohead, things I grew up listening to. Some of those messages are incredible and undeniably well-written but they will get you down and clearly magnify a womans "power" over a man.

[–]Myagooshki4004-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

I've got plenty of nuanced beliefs about women's power, but what songs are you thinking of?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

All you have to know is metal is the shit. Infinitely based. Ultimate freedom music. Do what you want. Write what you want. Show up to a show and fkn mosh. Great brotherly bonding time with sweaty, drunk and high MOTHERFUCKERs. In this age of stay six feet away from another human, moshing is the one of the closest things to intense spiritual experience in a group form. The prime aim being physical contact and being totally free doing what you want (within reason). I've seen guys just spin in a circle in the pit all night. Everyone loves it. Wear a banana costume? Sick. Stand in the back and don't move a muscle all night? Don't care.

Metal is the way.

[–]iFunnyPrince0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

I always thought it was trash, but then again I'm a fan of old odd future music so my opinion probably doesn't hold much weight lol

[–]AssassiN18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Like synthwave?

[–]janaheyiloveyou0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Death grips.. Metal.. Stuff like the nitronic rush soundtrack.. There are some cool shit out there.. Some blue pilled music I take it with a cheesy fun vibe instead of seriously.. You can do that

[–]Myagooshki4004-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

You say death grips and metal is blue pill or no?

[–]theredsperg0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

nah that's the mainstream machine, those women are clever and know how to exploit.

whilst on the other hand there's nothing stopping you from listening to music that is masculine?

the music industry went from big macho men to little petite women, this is literally what popularity is coming down too.

popular rock artists = macho men

big rappers = powerful macho men

there's not a lot of difference of why and how these kinda people get in power, extreme masculinity is to answer

[–]ariky0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I’ve been listening to The Weeknd for many years. His songs pumps your alpha inside.

Even the simping songs of him turns out to be an alpha song.

If he ain’t fucking with women, he fucks men.

EDIT: He has about 23 million followers on Instagram when I last checked. It seems considerably less.

However he has lots of tracks on Spotify passing 500 Million streams.

EDIT 2: Btw, I think that even if someone writes songs that seem like beta-ish, the singer or producer ain’t necessarily a beta.

For example the Turkish rapper Ezhel (@ezhel06) has several tracks that praise a loved woman. “Felaket”, “AYA”, “İmkansızım” are some of them.

However, when I listen to these tracks, I can empathize from a woman perspective and I am like “a man who can write such lyrics is cool as fuck and he totally is an alpha”.

I mean, lyrics might not be to true reflection of the track and artist itself.

Cardi N is bad, but you can listen to Cardi B

[–]AssassiN18[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Wow, I did not even notice that

[–]ExaltedR3V3NG34 points5 points  (1 child) | Copy

No one with a minimum of self-respect should be listening to Cardi B...

[–]its-mystery-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

I guess you don’t get humour

[–]0ggles-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

Pop (Radio/Top) music is suppose to turn people blue pill, love and sex songs. I listen to music with little vocals or non at all.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

Music from any area is bluepilled pretty much. Oh well.

[–]DrizzlyShrimp36-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

Eh, I don’t listen to them but I get why they exist. There’s obviously a market for them.

[–]TheStumblingWolf-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

Yes. I already thought rock music had been defiled by whiny men singing about "the one". Now that I know about TRP, it seems even worse. Downright self destructive.

[–]etaoinsrhd-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

Absolutely, but for me it is wrapped in that "dudes are just ugly girls" phrase. In short, all of music is a product for women. The fact that some guys are drawn to it is merely money icing on the cake for the artist. Lyrically, there are exceptions to that rule but fundamentally it it is a product for the masses of women, and in every sense the most popular bands have peacocked, been overtly sexual, and in one or more ways display narcissistic or dark triad characteristics such as controversy, tattoos, etc. This is why the church sought to control it and in many organizations (like the Church of God) to ban it and any practice that could be considered a sexually exciting practice such as dancing unless it was properly scoped and controlled like the whirling dervishes of the East.

Motley Crüe: it's all about partying in the 1980s sense, when HIV and AIDS weren't a concern and all STDs except herpes could be solved by antibiotics. It's practically hate speech by modern liberal terms, unless you're celebrating the freedom of women to consort with super-high SMV guys.

2Pac was raised by a militant feminist and was nice until it didn't work for him and he invented his rap character and turned that into his way of life.

[–]priapula-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

wtf is this question? Literally just listen to music you like or music that fits your generation. Most hip hop isn’t bluepill at all
