First of all, I love my sister and my female childhood friends to death and think the world of them. They are all in college about to graduate and visiting. I'm still in high school at eighteen years old. I don't know either it's a generation shift but the topic of sexual partners came up and when I told them I was a virgin at eighteen years old they all burst out laughing. When I asked them, they all gave a number from 25-40 sexual partners. My jaw dropped and asked if they were serious. They all however told me this was completely normal and the average for women their age (20-24) and that I shouldn't be so judgemental. They also talked about how it's completely normal for men to have numbers these high too and talked about how sex felt just as good for men to women, just as easy for them, etc. Now, I have known them all throughout my life and our families know each other so I really think they were being honest.
