Sounds like you could have communicated that looks gave him a better advantage and added to the substance he had already or something like that. That way it would have avoided any implications of him interpreting that you meant he was a shallow person. Either that or he was just a butt hurt little sissy.

In the future make sure to include all this and if they still get butt hurt it's because they are a sissylala.

Where exactly are you going with your life?

I mean what is the mission? You are involved at the youth ministry at Church, this is a good start. But you've got to break out and start changing things. Churches these days are the last place men want to be, that's the focus most of us should have in ministry.

Not trying to offend you and I may be wrong, but this post reeks of mediocrity. We're called to be dangerous to the darkness. Do you feel dangerous in your life/ministry?

It likely offended him because going on about how attractive he is compared to you comes across as having a massive amount of butt hurt going on.

I've been dumber than rocks socially, but learn one thing well dude. Do not make a big deal out of your friends having more of anything than yourself. Be that money, power or even women. It makes you look jealous and put's you easily into a mindset of envy or coveting what they have.

What you were saying, whether intentional or not is a slight against him.

Did you err? Yes. Quit focusing on other mens missions so much unless they are close friends looking for advice, there is nothing to gain from discrediting the hard work of your friends.

If you're both Christians, I would avoid that. It's stiring conflict between brothers (Proverbs 6:16-19).

Also, avoid any kind of RP "evangelism" or even talk about it. Most men are not ready to take the RP and women will absolutely hate it.
