No. But I think that's because I don't look for or track shit tests. I don't worry about figuring out if I'm being shit tested or not. If a woman said to me, "Either the fair or back to my place." I'd say, forget the fair! I'm just not sure it's worth figuring out if that's a shit test or not. Or even bothering to notice it as one.

I am a woman and at no point have I given a man a shit test. However, one guy I dated shit tested me with the old classic "I Forgot My Wallet Can You Pay For Lunch" trick and I told him to go get his wallet. He was pissed that I denied his small victory. He was always doing stuff like that so I dumped him.

These women seem to have really awful ideas about how to interact with men. Women aren't perfect, and it sounds like these ones were not even all that nice.

But you have to remember that this isn't sort of deep and nefarious plot that *all* women do. You've met some women who viewed the world, and thus interacted with it, in a way you don't like. Fair enough, it's a weird way to view the world. Go find some women who don't view it like that - they're definitely out there. Because there are literally millions of women in the world, and your experiences with them (whilst still shit, sorry about that) don't even make up a minute fraction of the range of women out there.

When I was 16 and in my first relationship I probably did things that would be considered 'shit tests' - he did the same to me - we were silly and immature teenagers trying to get each other to 'prove' our feelings in the ways lots of media and films told me he should. I'm now 26, in a relationship with someone completely different, I don't do any of those things anymore and can look back and go 'yikes, that was a dick move'. So also remember that people can grow, and that that sort of behaviour is - in my opinion - a sign of immaturity (it doesn't matter what age someone is, they can still be immature).

All women look for red flags for bad behavior because they must do so (for safety reasons), but those are not the same as what you're calling shit tests. What you're seeing here is manipulation and emotional abuse.

"Make them mad to see if they'll stick around" means she's an abuser looking for victims. Don't tolerate manipulative or abusive behavior, dude.

Others don't know how to communicate, or how to process emotions in a healthy manner, because lots of people are just bad at this, but that's something that can be learned and improved with practice.

Learn to communicate in a healthy manner for yourself, and learn what respect for others looks like, and you'll rule out a LOT of both of these groups automatically.

Isn’t shit testing just where a woman tries to create an argument, by throwing you off centre and trick you into trying to defend yourself?

I thought general PUA advise was to “role with it” mostly to agree and amplify to make her sound absurd or turn it into a joke.

Is it red pill to just laugh along with it? Or to just not react, remain grounded and logical, talk through it and not get offended?

Whilst being “alpha” might advocate that you defend yourself by going on the offensive...

I don’t think there’s anything particularly wrong with making light of your own flaws. Depending on her perception of you, this can come across as confident, or self deprecating.

Either way if she takes it badly I don’t think there’s much else you could have done - she already made up her mind.

You “acting alpha red pill” is just going to push her away just as much as if you “beta defended yourself”.

Isn’t the middle ground to just agree and accept your own flaws, but sort of recognise you aren’t perfect but it’s not gonna throw you off?

And I think that applies more to being charismatic rather than any specific romantic advice or game.

You do whatever you feel like doing, when you’re confident, I think that’s the key. You’ve got to transmute that confident energy in how you respond, rather than the content of what you’re saying.
