Online dating beneficial during Covid?

As I am pursuing my mission/vision of becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist that can help men live with more integrity and responsibility, I’m wondering how online dating would be helpful/harmful during this time of Covid where it’s looking like the “phase-system” isn’t going to go away anytime soon (maybe after the election, lol)... I like to approach in person, but there aren’t many people out at the moment. Advice on online dating or nah?

Been thinking of just going monk-mode, but since all of this is going down I predict more people who are single will start going on dating apps. I know hypergamy is rampant on dating apps, but, at the same time, for passive game I was thinking it could be beneficial.

I do approach because I honestly don’t care about Covid and think it’s no worse than the seasonal flu, but not everyone is based enough to know that.

Thoughts?

Edit: I’m a 24 y/o male that is around 6’2” weighing around 155 (15% body fat), lift/run 3 days a week for around an hour and a half each time. Bench: 160, squat: 120, curl 30’s for 10 reps)

First off:

POST YOUR STATS

If you are asking us whether you should be in monk mode or not, stop.

These are decisions you make on your own. Even better, start addressing your insecure character traits so that you don't get in a relationship then start asking us "should I take my gf on a date, or have her take me on a date."

This is the most apparent beta behavior you have right now, and one that is more important to address then the smart dating decision you could make.

Edited.

Okay, noted. I’m thankful that you said this as I am working on that process. That being said, what do you recommend doing to move forward towards growth having seen this in me?

Bro. Again.

Stop overthinking things.

Go lift more and lose your BF.

No bro, you need to lift like a dying man stranded in a desert needs water. I have been 6'2" and 155lbs and was scrawny and pathetically weak just like you. After years of lifting serious I bulked up to ~205lbs and added about 600 lbs to my combined deadlift, squat, and bench press. I cannot overstate how much getting strong has been in my day to day life experience. There is a reason that lifting is not an option here at RPC.

Lifting should be your top (and probably only) priority apart from your faith and work right now. Literally everything else will yield tiny returns in comparison.

Since you are starting at essentially zero, I am going to be nice and give you a starting point:

Read Bigger, Leaner, Stronger by Mike Matthews. Follow what he says, especially regarding eating correctly to make gains.

Watch Jeff Nippard videos on how to do each lift. Here's a video on how to do a proper Deadlift (which apparently you desperately need since it isn't even listed in your stats).

Lift heavy 4-5 days a week and stop running so much.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
