I don't have anything against MJ, I am not a user myself though. And if a person is using it, I can respect that, but when the person is a pothead, meaning keeps talking about it, like it makes her cool - my dick dissapears.

Just as a counter to this point, there's always exceptions to the rule. I know some super high functioning successful and in-shape people who smoke pot frequently. I'll be the first to admit that's certainly not the norm though.

Even if her family had more money than me, I knew she would be the kind of women who would approach a divorce like winner takes all.

I still think of her from time to time, I hope she finds happiness, I just know it cannot be with me.

Main thing for me and other people I’ve talked to that do it is mind muscle connection. Really helps focus in on the lift and tune everything else out, feeling every muscle group work in synchronization. Arnold talked a lot about this.

Second, I’m always happy to be there after a puff or two. I love the gym, it’s my “zen” time. A tiny bit of weed let’s me focus in my aggression. I never half ass it and push way harder. For me, it’s truly a performance enhancing drug.

Going to the gym fully lit, blazed out? Nah no thanks. That’s too much for me. Just a toke or two to shift my perspective and lift my spirit.

Not true. Dated a party girl as FWB for a year and she’s a super stoner. We also did other stuff besides weed but she mostly smoked. Clean v, nails kept, dressed cute and super submissive. Addiction is a red flag for the LTR level. When you notice this, you change nothing but make note that they are permanently disqualified from LTR status.

If her addiction is serious enough, it's a dealbreaker at the plate and FWB levels as well; you don't want to get dragged down in a whirlwind of drama and bullshit that comes along with that.

There we go! I just had a convo with a friend about a mutual friend of ours who decided to quit because he wanted to get his life in order. Well he quit, it's been a couple of weeks and he's still stuck in the same non-progrerssive routine (he's more attentive and slightly more motivated) which means he's got a lot of deep routed problems that would cloud the judgment. And the high causing a lot of distraction. (IMO) I used to have the same problem where I was in the same mind state but I got to work; researched chemical reactions in the body/vitamin intake/testesterone building methods/anti anxiety foods/meditation/dopamine reactions/serotonin reactions/fucking ETC/you fucking name it. I believe that everything is chemical. And I am not th same person I was a year ago. I am amazing. And I'll become even more amazing. I did that with marijuana present in my daily life.

I once saw someone on reddit say that if you're thinking about trying a new drug, take a look at the people who use it regularly, because those are going to be your friends once you start. I joke about the fact that I've never done coke for the same reason I've never killed anyone: I'm afraid I'd like it. I also don't understand why in the hell anyone would ever use meth. But there are plenty of successful, driven people who smoke pot regularly without wearing clothing covered with pot leaves or starting hardcore drugs. I don't even really consider pot a drug. But Nixon got it scheduled as a narcotic in the same category as heroin in his culture war against African-Americans and hippies. Far more people die from using tobacco and alcohol.

To answer your question, if it's a turnoff for you, there are plenty of women who don't smoke pot for you to date. But if I'm vibing with an interesting woman at a party, and she invites me out to her car to smoke a bowl, I'm going. It would be a far bigger deal for me if she was a chain smoker or a cat hoarder.

Potheads of any gender are a big turnoff. I'm not some evangelist either. In my college days I smoked pot, took LSD/shrooms two times, and a coke a few times on wild nights.

But the people who are out of college and still desperately trying to cling to the loser pot lifestyle are honestly a joke. They treat it like smoking pot is a personality trait.

My girlfriend and I have smoked weed daily for half a decade and we are both eating healthy, staying active, attending college and getting our shit done. I see weed in the same light I see coffee.

Different strokes for different folks. I don’t have many friends who smoke, and I have never met anyone who sits around smoking all day with no ambition. Although it seems to be the stereotype so I have no doubt misuse and little discipline can turn into that.

I would say, if that is what is going on, it is definitely a red flag. But even then I would say it’s more of a lifestyle/discipline issue than it is a weed issue.

Well, my chronic pain probably will not change much once I leave college. And I won’t be taking any opiates. I have been using daily for 7 years and have seen very little negatives in treating pain compared to opiates. It’s saved my life.

Trust me, bro. The day I retire I’ll be right back at it. I 100% respect you for not using big pharma’s poisons. For me, I never would have been able to quit if my profession wasn’t so black and white about it. However, for me it’s been a blessing in disguise because there are a lot of benefits of not being addicted to something. Yes, it is addicting as are other psychoactive substances (e.g., caffeine, alcohol, etc.) otherwise you wouldn’t do it in the first place.

I don’t like the smell which is why I use it maybe once a month and only edibles, I’ve smoked/ripped thrice in my life. However, I dont act like I’m holier than thou and if others are doing it, I don’t give a fuck.
