So should I defend myself on my posts on social media? Mainly with woman I’ve always heard on here that you shouldn’t argue with anybody that comments because it shows you care. Is this true?

If I post my opinion and someone comments that they disagree I usually ignore them but sometimes they completely misunderstand what I’m saying and I feel like I should re iterate but at the same time I feel like that’s the wrong thing to do. Like I feel I should stick to my guns.
