On one of my most recent posts, a feminist accused me of having "womb envy" because I said it's ridiculous to have an abortion just because the baby is male. Why do they assume that anti feminists are men by default? They're in for a rude awakening when they find out that not all women go along with their silly little third wave feminism movement.

You may be right. I do see radical feminism as being driven by envy of men and male capacity.

What I find fascinating is how feminists want entry into every male dominated field, except for ones that are strenuous, dirty, and dangerous like mining, or building construction, or garbage collection. Equality clearly means that only men should do the dirty work.

  1. Antifeminism has absoluely nothing to do with being anti womens rights in anyway. Good since many of its members, and virtually all of its most prominent activists (TV, books, youtube, media) are female
  2. In general, anti feminists are critical of feminism (not all types, I will get to that). We have absolutely no interest or even believe in the concept of making someone not a feminst or stopping them doing what they want in any other way than honest respectul debate in a free and open soceity, where they can then decide what to do. Some Feminsts on the other hand routinely use strong tactics and even violence to try and stop people from even critisicing them. THAT IS NOT US.
  3. Womens rights and feminism are two differnt things. The latter is an idealogy. To not be or to oppose femininsm is to reject the ideology. It has nothing to do with rejecting womens rights.
  4. Feminsim as part of its maipulation and distortion has tried to completly make itself synonymous with womens rights, so those that even are ambivalen towards i t let alone critisice or oppose it are misgonysts who hate women and are opposed to womens rights. With this manipulation , feminsm has tried to make itself free from external critisicm. Something not compatible with modern free society and something particularly wrong as feminism is political and makes poltical decisions.... and we are in a democracy. Imagin not being allowed to critiscicse a political party? It is also uterly false. It doesnt even make sense opposition to feminism is misogony or against womens rights either as feminism has many branches, many of which utterly oppose each other, even to the point of violence.

Christinaty does not have a monoply on morality and you cannot say some has no morality because they arent a christian.

5) Anti feminism is diverse. Almost all will have a particular issue with modern mainstream feminism. This is not unqiue. Many, many feminsits themselves and even many actual feminst movements are highly critical of modern feminism for THE EXACT SAME REASONS your average anti feminst is.... e.g. lack of free speech, huge censorship (kicking out those with even slightly differing views to group think) , echochamber, victim mentality, lack of female agency e.g. everything is the fault of patriachy, women have no power and are opressed and any bad she does is not her fault, rampant man hatred, hypocrisy.

6) It is not my place to tell people what to do or what to be. I am entitled to debate them though in a free society especially if they are a political movement that changes the law (drastically) and affects public policy. Generally almost all feminism is bad as it falls into the ills discussed. As said there are some types of feminis, which have littlte to no actual power who are against those too. If you are going to be a feminist I'd rather you be one of them (rather, im not telling you what to do) but ultiamtely I think they all have problems. Could feminism save itself? Hmmm yeah I suppose, but maybe its time to leave something which has become so toxic.

Granted they are massive steps but that didn't mean there isn't more work to be done. So a list of inequalities that still need to be resolved. (In no particular order, and non exhaustive)

1) pay inequality 2) the number of laws that regulate women's bodies 3) the different standards of behaviour for men and women 4) uniform policies that police women's bodies rather than men's behaviour 5) the assumption that a woman is more likely to be lying about a sexual assault that a man is to have committed it (especially when the evidence is clearly the other way) 6) the assumption that in a breakup the kids are better placed with the mother 7) how women are often ignored in meetings but when a man says the same thing they are listened to. 8) the fact that a woman's.clothing and behaviour can be used as evidence in a rape case 9) the fact that most medication is nit tested on how it impacts women, but just men. Including some medication that is exclusively for women 10) the fact that medically we know a lot more about mens bodies than women's 11) lack of female representation in politics 13) lack of female representation in the board room 14) the idea that some jobs are just more suited to men and some to women 15) the fact that women make up the majority of domestic violence victims 16) the fact that men represent the majority of deaths from crime 17) the fact that men represent the majority of deaths at work 18) the fact that men are a bigger threat to women that heart attacks 19) everything about toxic masculinity that stops men engaging with their emotions 20) the idea that 2 men being close and emotional is somehow "gay" 21) the assumption that all women are a bit gay but men aren't 22) the whole concept of a "real man" or "real woman" 23) the phrase "man up" 24) everything that is wrong with how trans mean and trans women get treated right now 25) lack if access to judgement free abortions

So that's just a quick 25 inequality issues affecting mean and women that feminists (in general, obviously I can't speak for us all) are still working to improve.

The laws that regulate women's bodies are the ones that block access to contraception, and the ones that block access to safe abortions.
