Feminism has gone to far...

My dad (works as a pre-school principal and has been that for the last 5 years) was questioned by one of his co-workers (pre-school teacher who had only worked there 60% the last 2 years) why she wasn’t getting paid as much as him. Her arguments for why she should have been paid more were that “ShE hAs 2 ChiLdReN aT hOmE aNd HaS tO pAy FoR cHiLd SuPpOrT aNd bla bla bla...” When he explained the situation for her she got really mad and was talking about how men get paid more than women and how my dad has no idea what it is like to be a woman so he would never understand etc.

She ended up getting fired for mistreating her higher-ups and just being a jerk in general.

And that is why I go to pro-feminism protest with a sign that says “WHY AM I HERE?” And also why I am anti feminist. Please tell me in the comments why you are antifeminists!

im antifeminism because of the outragouse insanities i've seen done by women because of feminism. like the prosecution of men because of alleged accusation without any proof and the men being guilty until proven otherwise. also the fact that the legal system still doesn't treat men and women equally and gives women less jail time for the same crime compared to men. also the fact the women get to vote for a president that i might not approve of who might decide to wage war that im going to be forced to fight in while women get to choose. they have to barethe same responsibility as long as they have the same right. this also expands to all cases of male expendability. there are many more reasons other than those but i don't want to make this too long.

Many reasons. They tend to be ideologues, who don't want to explore issues with anyone who doesn't agree with them, which makes conversations with them pointless, often. Their beliefs are often, in my view, wrong. The pay gap, toxic masculinity, mansplaining, male privilege, the patriarchy, are topics I would challenge them on if they were the kind of people capable of calm, rational debate. But my biggest reason for not wanting anything to do with feminism is the anti-male attitude which pervades so much feminist rhetoric. It's not something I want to associate myself with.

Because it's a fundamentalist ideology (complete with an invisible, all-powerful enemy, The Patriarchy) which cannot survive being questioned and viciously demonizes even the slightest hint of disobedience.

I grew up in a Evangelical church during the height of the "satanic panic" of the 80's. I've LIVED under the ugliness of fundamentalism before, and guess what?

Only the names have changed.

Same reason here. Patriarchy doesn't exist.

My mean reason is because when i was in high school there was this girl she was okay but long story short she stole money from me and than said that she would kill me the next day at school she accused me of threatening to kill her and when i said that is not true she did that and stole my money the principal said that I should just stop she was a girl and i am a boy it was clear i was lying plus if she was telling the truth i should have just given her the money because gender wage gap bs and well that is where my anti feminist stardet

Mine is also like that, but stupider, a girl kept acting out, every sung fucking day, even fucking cussed out my friend who told that bitch to sit down, and a few days later I called her a thot and i got lambasted of the face or the earth, also she had a simp, who she had, "take care" of me, because she couldn't face me as a human being.

Also, this happened in 6th grade

I know what you mean there was also this other girl no matter what i did she would yell blood and murder and point her finger at me every fucking day no matter what i did she was already next to the teacher to snitch in me and worst of all they believed her every day

Well I watched some stupid videos in the BBC and BuzzFeed and it just seemed too radical and “equal” then I found some anti feminist channels and then I came here, Reddit, went to r/feminism and it wasn’t quite as bad as I thought it was but definitely I didn’t agree with most of what they said

I want to have kids one day and don’t want them aborted without my consent.

While I generally lean left, I have the fucking brain to know the patriarchy doesn't exist and everyone has equal rights and the wage gap isn't real

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
