Why are positive men’s traits considered bad

In this feminists propaganda I saw the other day as well as many more I’ve seen over the years it will cite men’s good leadership skills and ambition as a negative. But rather then try to build up women’s skill in those areas they just want to tear men down in their strengths. This always confused me why this was a thing feminist used as it makes no sense.

In other words they call all masculine traits toxic when men do them. Then feminists try to force women to act in those “toxic” ways then celebrate it.

Like yaaaay we just ruined both genders at the same time smh it’s so stupid

True true but they do include them when describing toxic traits of men

Well on here's a question for you, have you noticed how many women say that they are feminists but hate it, and I mean really hate it when you tell them to sort their own drama out, you know because they are strong and independent.

Feminism is now an outright shit test, they are by and large testing men and men are failing, we are failing because we are not saying no, we are failing because we do their bidding.

Have you ever noticed how much more reasonable a woman becomes when you say no, when you say I won't help you this time, when you say you sort it out, I'll be over here.

Now don't get me wrong here, I'm all for equality that's a standard as far as I'm concerned but what we can't help but fail to notice is this, feminism had gone over to the bat shit crazy side of things and we most often bend over backwards to give these people what they ask for because most men have learned that when you deal with a child who's constantly throwing a tantrum until they get what they want it's annoying.

So what do we do, we give in and hope that things will get quiet and go back to normal but the sad fact is many of these feminists aren't normal, many have a vast array of mental health issues, many have developed egos the size of New York, and don't like hearing the word no.

So for them destroying two genders is the only answer because they can see no other way, they can't understand the irony of the very thing they claim to fight for, which is choice, given that everyone has the freedom to choose then naturally some are going to make choices you don't like, well there's the irony, you don't like it but you have to support it because that's their right, a right you wanted for them to have.

They don't get that because many of them have failed, failed at life and at relationships, many cannot understand that if one has freedom to choose then so does the other. Because of this lack of understanding they lack nuance, they lack foresight and they turn to hate and blame because that's easier than actually accepting their part in the mess of their own lives.

This is why they hate men who posess traits they admire and want in a man, while then simultaneously trying to force women to develop traits many of them actually don't want.

Dang got to agree with you it is very ironic because they fight for the free choices for women but force women do do stuff they don’t all enjoy it’s counter productive

When I think about it tho most of feminism is counterproductive

Well let's take for example the issues with modelling and grid girls, they got canned because feminists didn't like it and put many companies under pressure to stop sponsoring it or stop sponsoring races because of the girls, they themselves said how much they enjoyed it, earned enough that they only had to do that job for the season and then take the rest of the year off.

But it was a job that feminists didn't like, not because it was sexist because if that were the case these girls and young women wouldn't like the job, even though they said many times the drivers were always very respectful and professional with them, they were more protected doing that job than at any other time in their lives.

It was a job that your average feminist could only dream of doing, I mean who wants a 250lb woman with face metal, a bad attitude and a bunch of tattoos showing off cars costing more than 2 million dollars, nobody

But regardless of the choices these grid girls were making, and it also should be remembered that it was also a very good way for a lot of young women to kick-start their modelling career, which they couldn't get any other way, these feminists have campaigned to stop it and as such these girls are out of a job, a job they loved and wanted to do. Their words not mine.

Its so annoying how feminism (mainly wave 3) has actually restricted females more than it helped them

I used to have a friend who was a dancer, she lived the job even though she knew she could do it forever. She earned enough to buy her car for cash and in her first year put a massive down payment on her home.

The bar she worked at was closed down because, you guessed it feminists argued that it was exploiting women.

She used to say that in the bar she had the power and the men were paying to be exploited because both knew exactly what was going on, she used to say she never felt more safe than in the bar, certainly more safe than at any other time in her life.

Now I'm not saying exploitation doesn't happen, I'm saying that if a woman makes a choice they don't like for whatever reason they don't like it, they'll have no worries about throwing men, women or children under the bus to get their way.

[–]TomToms8[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

I agree there is exploitation of women but most cases it’s feminists being sexist saying women can’t do something which is wrong

America has become the land of the lowest common denominator. “If I can’t have then neither can you.” This is irregardless if one works or earns what they have. I’ve herd people say that everyone in tech is rich and was born into it. No schooling, no earning a degree, no scrambling against the fierce competition. No. Everyone in tech was just born lucky and is extremely rich.

This is the new mentality: “Gimmy mines.”

[–]akihonj3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

Yes there is a lot of that about and I've worked in Cali for a bit and yes between the haves and have nots there is a big gap but I agree there is a gimme attitude, it's worse in some places and with some people though, my experience mainly middle class white women, college educated black women, a attitude of gimme just coz.

I have also found their attitude to be worse if it means that a man is going to loose out. The idea of rising up to the competition is dwindling and now it's about who can hit the bottom dinner or get to the lower point.

There’s a difference between masculinity and toxic masculinity. Toxic masculinity is treating women as sex objects, virgin shaming and body shaming other men, using gay as an insult, etc

Yep

[–]beccadollo1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

I’ll definitely admit that I don’t think it’s practiced well throughout feminism, but feminism is ideally supposed to be criticizing the pressure on men to fit into the masculine stereotypes. The expectation that men are tough, breadwinners, must suppress their emotions, and other traditionally masculine traits is what feminism is truly trying to dismantle. I know this isn’t well practiced but I hope your question wasn’t rhetorical. Just trying to explain how, ideally, the mindset behind feminism works, at least from my perspective. I definitely see though how some men are put in a position where they feel like they aren’t allowed to be masculine, which totally is not the goal, but still happens.

[–]TomToms8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Yea I see that it wasn’t the goal of feminism but it kinda did that for example your ten times less likely than a woman with the same skills to be accepted for a STEM job just because you a man feminists caused that with all those make women choose STEM campaigns

I'm confused, do you think "good leadership" and "ambition" are exclusively male traits?

[–]TomToms8[S] 2 points3 points  (4 children) | Copy

No both genders can have them but usually in feminist things there said to be toxic traits of men

So no there not exclusively male traits

[–]BlatantNapping1 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy

I've heard of toxic masculinity but not toxic male traits. What are you referring to specifically? I've never heard a feminist saying "good leadership is a male trait and is bad." Or am I misunderstanding?

[–]TomToms8[S] 2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy

I’m referring to toxic masculinity when saying toxic male traits and when I was referring to like when a man succeeds it’s always because of ThE pAtRiArChY or whatever and is wrong yet when a women succeeds in the same way they cheer.

It’s just like the double standard they would want all women in power like 100%. When it should just be meritocratic by vote. And consider it bad when a man succeeds then turn around and try to make all women succeed in those same jobs.

[–]BlatantNapping1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

So I think you're kind of changing the argument then. My understanding is that they believe meritocracy would be a great system except that people with the power to make hiring decisions have a (subconscious) in-group bias.

If that wasn't the case, the only explanation for the overrepresentation of white men in positions of power would be that for some reason white men are inherently better at...basically everything.

Is that what you believe?

[–]TomToms8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Naw i don’t believe white men are inherently better I just think that the whole like we need diversity thing is annoying and hurts people who put effort in doesn’t matter what race

Also Part of the reason white male people represent a large part of high up positions is first that they make up a large part of the population especially in the US as well as why it’s more men is because lots of women are moms and don’t have a job or have a smaller job that isn’t too demanding not saying a woman having a high up job is bad. Another reason why there is also a less minority representation in high up jobs is partially because of welfare which makes it where they don’t have to work as much so why would they want to work more

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
