So boys are more likely to have ADHD

Many were wrongly diagnosed. The early 90's to now have been plagued with drugging up little boys for being boys. I was put on Adderall at age 7 for 4 whole years, because of it.

I heard a story about a boy that got suspended from school because he ate his pop tart into the shape of a gun. Yes boys seem to be more rambunctious and I can see how that would cause a problem in the classroom if the child was doing something like running around or something and not paying attention or being a distraction, but doing stuff like playing with legos or idk eating your sandwich into the shape of Duke nukem, why exactly should that be discouraged? I’m totally fine with boys and girls being interested in stuff that is usually dominated by the other gender, but did we just forget that boys and girls tend to have their own preferences and behavior?

Yes, we did forget...

As a woman with autism, when you’re talking about women with communication disorders, you have to take into account that the diagnostic criteria for autism is geared towards boys and that is just one of the many reasons why so many women go undiagnosed. The symptoms also show up differently between men and women, making it harder to diagnose women which can be a real problem when it comes to living life. But yes it is true that boys are more likely to get diagnosed whether it is because of the diagnosis criteria or something to do with DNA or biology.

Sometimes it’s wrongly or misdiagnosed though. Seems like kids are just getting diagnose with it sometimes because they’re boys though. But regardless if you’re male or female, autism can be hard af.

Oddly enough the only autistic people I know are all males. Maybe it's more common in males or it's not diagnosed properly.

[–]Gameperson7002 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

It’s a possibility. It could also be just as common in females, but since the symptoms show up differently and the diagnosis is mostly made for boys, we can’t yet be 100% sure that boys are diagnosed more often than girls. It may be over diagnosed too.

The top 10% of a high school class is just female teachers being sexist against men and giving women a better grade then men

[–]BATboy8952 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

Depends on the school. In my school, it wasn’t that way, but many teachers were more forgiving for the girls than boys.

For every 100 women that contribute to society in a meaningful way, like building a house or fighting a war to defend the homeland, there are 1,000,000 men.

I have a son and it truly saddens me to see these kind of statistics. To then realize that there are people who would be dismissive of this information or even celebrate it fills me with a fury that burns hotter than the sun. I hope I have done a good job raising my son but I am deeply concerned for his, and every young man's future.

Looks like a circle jerk of whos sadder. As a guy, i dont like the idea of leaning on statistics of others to prove my life is harder. I like to hate feminism for it being a negative impact on society, but not bow down to their level to prove them wrong.

[–]MegaMindxXx[S] 17 points18 points  (3 children) | Copy

Statistics prove them wrong. Not just your feelings.

[–]seatbelt-malfunction0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy

Anyone with half a brain knows they're wrong.

[–]MegaMindxXx[S] 4 points5 points  (1 child) | Copy

True, but then they say "Prove it". This is proof. I bet if somebody posts this in r/feminists theyll get immediately banned. Even though its 100% factual.

[–]Freeze_Wolf1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

On this sub, if you mention something feminist that’s actually true (very unlikely) you won’t get banned, it’s gonna be discussed instead of just banning you, unlike r/feminists

Can't tell you f this is pro or anti man

[–]MegaMindxXx[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy

It shows who has more obstacles to overcome and more challenges in life.

[–]Boylego0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy

Still doesn't help me

[–]MegaMindxXx[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

The feminists whole argument is that they're victims. That life is harder for women. That they're discriminated against constantly. This list of statistics debunks that. Probably because you're a young kid you don't understand what feminism is.

Okay that helps
