maybe, instead of bitching about shit like this or the wage gap, they could do some fucking research for once and figure out that more women are stay at home parents than men, more women take lower paying jobs than men, then they could do helpful things like actually try and get younger girls interested in STEM feilds! im actually a 15yo girl whos trying to pursue a STEM career in the future because its something that i find interesting.

I’m 16 and I’ve noticed that stem is seemingly more popular among women than ever before. At least in my high school every other girl wants to be an engineer.

I'm even pretty sure that nowadays, women have a higher chance of getting into the STEM field than men, regardless of grades. Just because they are women.

last month the news reported Australian college lowered the entrance expectations ONLY for women.

This will make it easier for women to get accepted and more qualified men will be rejected.

I go to an engineering college and I can tell you 100% the reason so few women go into the programs is because high schools dont push it enough for them or they would just rather take the easy route to gender studies

STEM is a hard field and isn't for everyone, and some women just dont seem to want it. The issue at our school is not the acceptance (tho some want to believe it is) but the applications. If women dont want it they dont need it
