I am a feminist who has made posts on here w/o getting banned. You can be different and not share the same ideas, but I came here to learn rather than make jokes. Anyways I do appreciate y’all being tolerant.

Yeah thats nice (upvoted you), I wish r/Feminism wasn't so closed to discussion. I guess it just reveals how most feminists aren't willing to discuss or open up to new ideas tbh.

Thank you! To be fair, I do understand the aversion to a lot of discussions in r/feminism; however, I definitely don’t think it’s productive. I just try to promote the idea that, even though feminism has undergone some really generic branding that really ignores a lot of important factors of gender inequality (that exist on BOTH sides), the ideals in themselves are still important. I really do think that a lot of us want the same things, but everyone is too angry to think of ways of actually getting there.
