Just putting a comment here to see what other people come up with, I can't think of anything.

[–]GooseMan126[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children) | Copy

I’m sure they won’t come up with anything

The right to be higher in workplace fatalities

[–]GooseMan126[S] 8 points9 points  (6 children) | Copy

Good point, but that’s not a right. I am talking about legal rights so the feminists can’t say “the right to be victims of rape statistically higher”

[–]Legit_Preston_Garvey[🍰] 5 points6 points  (2 children) | Copy

Just a point, only being slightly serious

[–]GooseMan126[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

I’m just trying to keep consistent

Fair

Actually a man in prison is more likely to be raped than anyone on the outside, I'll try to find the study to make sure I'm not talking out of my ass which is possible

[–]Jex1175 points6 points  (1 child) | Copy

Furthermore, if you include male victims of female rapists, as well as the prison population, it turns out that more men get raped than women.

But yet society regards it as a women's-only-problem.

I don't consider it societal unless it's on the outside of prison but that's just me

Would they want to though?

[–]GooseMan126[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Well that’s getting changed

[–]ActuallyDoesntExist1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Future continuance tense. Fall back!

It’s not legal rights, it’s social rights that they claim are the issue. The right to not feel scared for some reason they blame on men (cat calling, walking alone, drink unattended, etc), the right to not have societal pressures like dressing or behaving certain ways, the right to feel equal in the workplace, etc.

[–]GooseMan126[S] 5 points6 points  (9 children) | Copy

No one has any of those rights because those are caused by other people. No one has the right to be safe. Sometimes you just have to keep yourself safe by taking extra precautions

[–]Nago314 points5 points  (8 children) | Copy

Totally agree. It would be insane to try to pass a law to make someone feel safe, since it’s such a personal experience. Or feel like society isn’t pressuring them. Or feel like anything.

Laws shouldn’t care about feelings.

[–]GooseMan126[S] 3 points4 points  (7 children) | Copy

What laws would you suggest? Harassment and rape are already illegal.

[–]Nago315 points6 points  (4 children) | Copy

I’m not sure if you understood the intent of my comments.

I don’t suggest any new laws because it’s not the government’s job to make people FEEL safe, it’s the job to help them BE safe. The laws around safety that are already in place today can be applied equally to men and women. They are already applied more heavy-handed to men. Anything beyond that is propagating systemic gender oppression.

[–]AllyDeisel1 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy

How are laws about safety applied more toward men?

So basically, women get it easier in terms of the justice system?

[–]Nago310 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Statistically true

[–]Nago312 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

Ahh, reread your comment. I disagree that you don’t have a right to be safe. That is the government’s job to systematically prevent other people from harming you. In this way, they intervene if I were to try to rob you or lock me up if I kill someone. But it’s not their job to prevent me from worrying that someone might do those things.

He said BE safe not FEEL safe

That sub is a small misandrist circle jerk sub that actually showcases not-so-secret thoughts and feels of feminists.

[–]blisterward1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

By this logic it's legal to kill a woman in Colorado

[–]Chezmatic1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

It is the right not to give a flying feck. Men reserve the right not to give a shiznit.

[–]MilesM00re0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Maybe this is why they want to abort fetuses lol.

[–]notalistener0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

We have the right to pay an insane sum of alimony if a woman doesn’t love us anymore. Don’t forget the right to surrender our house and our kids but we don’t get a right to anything pertaining to the child before it’s born. If they want to kill it they can do so without our consent & we must simply accept it. Insanity!

[–]spicymuffinss0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

they have rights to their own bodies

[–]MisPlacedNeuroBlue0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

To pull out?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
