I also like how there are no comments on these posts despite them having lots of likes, and the reason for that is that anyone who contradicts their ideas IE me saying men don’t say that women are beneath them gets banned and their comments deleted.

About the censorship that you were talking about. Do you think that the left is naturally more authoritarian while the right is more libertarian? It's something I'm noticing because the left censors any ideas apart from it's own while most subs on the right are the opposite and let people discuss. Idk. Your thoughts?

I think your idea of authoritarian versus libertarian is a good name to give it. But give it any name and it’s still the exact same thing; it’s women who feel entitled to treat men the same way women were treated a hundred years ago. I can see their motive but seriously. People don’t bring up sixty years ago when black people had no rights as much as women bring up that a man thought a woman didn’t look nice, so that’s discrimination.
The man thinks the woman looks nice = you think I look nice? Perv! Rape!
The man doesn’t think the woman looks nice = you sexist bitch, you don’t think I look nice because I don’t fit your ideals? Sexist!
Like they’re actually looking for excuses to hate men.

I wasn't alive back then but I find it hard to believe that men treated women like modern feminists treat men today.

I wasn’t alive back then either but I fail to see how women today, who you’d think would know what it feels like think it’s ok to do it back. It was never ok that men in the past treated women like their property, but it’s not ok that women think they can do it to men.

Two wrongs don't make a right type of situation. Just because back in the day women were treated like property doesn't mean they should encourage that to be going on today. By saying men should experience what women a long time a go did they are being regressive. Rather than making equality they are making inequality in the name of past generations. Feminists/SJWs shouldn't fault an entire generation for those in the past.

What they are doing today isn’t feminism. Feminism is the idea that men and women are equal. What they’re promoting is that women are a higher being. They’re promoting that something that we have no control over should be what defines us and that men are lesser. So yes. They shouldn’t blame a sexuality for something that happened a hundred years ago.

By definition modern feminism is not feminism based on what they are promoting. Let that sink in...

[–]VileInsidias[S] 3 points4 points  (3 children) | Copy

No it’s extremism. It can’t even be called feminism.

[–]Nateplays8551 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy

The "feminists" do though

[–]dkraus752 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Actually feminism is about women’s rights and only women’s rights, the thing you’re looking for is egalitarianism for the rights of all people, originally feminism WAS for promoting that females should be treated with the same respect and rights as men (i.e. voting) but has since devolved into some sort of convoluted excuse to demonize the opposite sex for whatever transgression they can think of or it can be weaponized to even ruin a man’s very life (i.e. false rape allegations)

Totally agree. Reddit suspended me once upon a time for having a similar comment.

The way I see: leftists think they are the good who wants to end poverty, intolerance etc and rightists are the evil who wants to opress the poor, physically attack their wifes and such. They think they are fighting something like nazism.

She’s right. Men that do say that are disgusting. But almost none of them exist

[–]VileInsidias[S] 6 points7 points  (2 children) | Copy

Exactly. That’s why I said men don’t say that. I wouldn’t agree with men that do say that but thankfully as has been pointed out, none of them exist. Or mostly none.

[–]GooseMan1266 points7 points  (1 child) | Copy

There are definitely men that say that. Those men are ass holes

[–]throwaway468190 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

True, there are people that will say basically anything. Hell, there are even women that say that (not even speaking theoretically here, on more than one occasion, I've heard different women say that). That doesn't make them, in any way, representative of men or women as a whole.

[–]CamoWoobie1005 points6 points  (1 child) | Copy

To be honest, I think something pretty similar

[–]AbsoluteSereniti0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Lol yah

[–]shadapper6 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy

I’m sure these men exist but they aren’t a % . Not at least the ones I’m around every day.

My family is full of honest, loyal, and mature men. As are coworkers and friends.. The jokes they have about their wives are equal to the jokes the women have about them. I know that’s not what the internet wants to hear hah.. Both men and women have good and bad.

This is just projection, nothing more.

Literally everything is what women does and not men

[–]AToastThatBurned0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I cant believe some people thinks we are like that

[–]Dogedoomofinternet0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Funny, feminists say that they are against hate speech, but they are themselves spreading that more than any else group. (If we don't count real neo nazis).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
