If only women attend the movie, then her comment would be accurate and irrelevant.

If men and women attend the movies and there’s just fewer of both, then it would be inaccurate and irrelevant.

As far as I’m aware, it’s the latter.

I know action movies are over the top by definition. But you have to make the women’s character’s somewhat believable or guy’s won’t accept them.

[–]seahawkguy2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

I can’t even fight a guy who’s 2 inches taller than me but a bunch of skinny ass women are gonna be able to on a bunch of bad guys who are over twice their weight? Yeah, ok.

At least Atomic Blonde was fun to watch.

Doesnt she know a wonder woman movie exists?

[–]censoredandagain18 points19 points  (0 children) | Copy

She CLEARLY doesn't know about GOOD movies.

[–]shitpunmate41 points42 points  (2 children) | Copy

Nah love. Men don't go to see shitty movies.

[–]Mjaxin20 points21 points  (0 children) | Copy

No one sees shitty movies

[–]RegumRegis1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

We still go to see shitty but funny movies. Though, this is neither.

My response: So what?

That’s all that needs to be said. I’m tired of men giving validity to the whines of solipsistic women by explaining and defending.

It will not do well at the box office.

Just like the women’s oceans 11

Just like the women’s ghostbusters...

We can smell a movie made with feminist intent from a mile away. It smells like deep fried shit, and no, we aren't interested.

[–]QueenSnowLeopard9 points10 points  (0 children) | Copy

This bums me out. I used to really like her. Too bad she’s crazy!

[–]iFunnyPrince3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

Maybe you shouldn't have made Charlie a woman for no reason other than political correctness lol.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

And didn't the old Charlie's Angel's with Lucy liu, drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz do really well? I know I liked it lol

It's an over-the-top, ridiculous action comedy that centers in on three strong women with the same ass-kicking potential as all the men but it does one thing that I'm sure this movie doesn't, gives them flaws, and not just any flaws, stereotypical flaws of women

All but one of them falls in love with a guy and that ultimately comes back to bite them all in the ass, the movie isn't about how great women are and about how evil men are, it's about three empowered women who come together to make up for each other's shortcomings and be united under the banner of their own imperfections

And it made 264 million, not bad for 2000 standards

She's prepared for her shit movie to fail with a premade shit excuse

[–]RingosTurdFace2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

From the trailer it seems that the film is just rubbing men’s faces in how bad we’re meant to be, via contrived two dimensional situations, before rejoicing in “strong” women who “don’t need no man” beating the crap out of the aforementioned men, it doesn’t seem like the kind of film any reasonable person would expect men to go and see.

We’d much rather watch a buddy film involving cars and with a much more positive message.

Does she not realize that there were already Charlie's Angels movies released in the 2000's that were huge hits? But no, I guess 2019 viewers are just misgogynists compared to those oh-so-progressive 2000's viewers.

"If this movie fails, it's because of the patriarchy and not because the movie wasn't good."

[–]GerinX2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

No it doesn’t. The judgment she made is wrong. She made a terrible movie and it is derisive and insulting to men.

Why would they want to go see it? No way. Never going to see this movie.

Hunger games: great movie where the female protagonist happens to be a women.

Charlie’s angels: middling man-bashing movie that banks on pandering to feminists instead of being good.

Men don’t have a problem with female protagonists. They have a problem with misandry and bad movies

[–]laptopdragon4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

Take the movies Planet of the Apes.

there's an entire species that we as people believe to be inferior, and they dominate us, and we go watch it in droves. A hit movie is about the idea of an underdog to rise up and master a hidden talent that helps them achieve a goal.

In all these latest femnazi-movies, it's only about how fucking stupid men are and how amazingly superior women are even though it's the polar opposite.

It's not that 'men' don't see women in action movies b/c we do. It's that people (including men) don't watch feminazi agendas while being told to shut up and like it b/c muh diversity. ~ fuck that shit.

[–]GrimnirBjorn1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Yeah tell that to the aliens movies or Battle Angel Alita or even the original Terminator and what about the hunger games

[–]RubbleRodent0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

God why does this have to be the case with every fucking movie with women in it like seriously its aways about sexism never the movie just being bad I hope it bombs so we can mock the bitch I love badass women in movies when it’s done right which Hollywood has been having a hard time doing since like forever right a good character not a generic badass with no personality

[–]slixx_060 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Men don't go see feminist movies.

It reinforces this stereotype

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

No, it's because the movie is shitty.

[–]Darthai0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Alright, lets for the sake of the arguement say that she is right and movie was actually good.
So what? Do people have to go and watch movies? Do we have to do anything? If you are making a movie, or any product whatsoever, it's your resposibility to sell it, not my responsibility to buy it. You can't shame people for not giving you money.

[–]Bombinic0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Of course we don't.

It is not believable.

[–]EasyCZ_19600 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Lmfao - if your stupid “action” movie flops, it’s because it’s a POS movie. The weak-minded argue “ISMs” are the reason for their box office failure. The only thing Elizabeth is a victim of is her own stupidity.

[–]Ourmutant-3 points-2 points  (1 child) | Copy

I'm just watching it for my queen kristen stewart

[–]sahyl972 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Ugh... That wooden bitch !?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
