We always see those studies cited where for example 78% of women on tinder only liked 20% of men but we never take into account the fact that the gebder ratio on Tinder is 80/20 with males being more (and 80% of 20 is the same number as 20% of 80, so if we reduce the userbase to 100 people 80 men and 20 women we have 16 women matching with 16 men while following the 80/20 rule just because the gender ratio is so skewed)

So I'm asking you, has any scientific study been done where the sample size was representative of the real world (a.k.a. 50/50 gender ratio)?
