EX gf came out of the woodworks after I got accepted into medical school?

Reddit View
July 16, 2020

We dated a year and a half, broke up around early 2018 she knew i was working towards getting into medical school, i didn't get in while we were dating or the subsequent year after we broke up but I recently just got accepted and she comes out of nowhere to initiate contact and congratulate me. Do girls ever go through regrets and realizing they had something good and lost it? Just want some advice on the phenomenon, I definitely don't want her back cause I know there's higher quality women to meet in medical school and at hospitals.

And this absolutely pisses me off cause I know fundamentally that the majority of women are simply gold-diggers, I fully plan on telling all girls I meet that I'm a janitor at the local hospital

[–]Tousen71118 points119 points  (38 children) | Copy

Fuck that. Just fuck their brains out (with a condom) and don't be afraid to drop them like a bad habit. As a doctor you're instantly top 1%. You've earned the attraction from all spates of women. Just don't get caught up thinking these hoes would love you the same if you worked at Arbys.

As a licensed professional, and especially one with high social standing, you will be held to certain standards of 'ethical' behaviour outside of work. Easy for a girl to fuck your shit up like that. Regulatory bodies are kangaroo courts that can fuck your shit up as bad or worse than a real legal court, but don't have the due process that is part of a real legal proceeding.

[–]Rock4GOD25 points26 points  (0 children) | Copy

OP, please read this carefully and make sure you understand it. Last year medical student here.

[–]Tousen7118 points19 points  (4 children) | Copy

[–]rawrlolrofl0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

[–]trppr9 points10 points  (0 children) | Copy

I am not, but of course that should be a consideration.

If he's wrong then someone needs to share your wisdom with one of my sister's coworkers (a dentist). That man gets more poon than Rollo's had hot dinners 😂

Dentists are the rebellious rockstars of the licensed medical industry. They give no fucks.

[–]fartt1231 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Thats only cause you were put in the box of high ethical standard (all doctors are) and accepted it, but you could definitely reject it and you won't be as successful as someone who accepts it, but you'll be living the way you want to.

Instantly top 1%? No.. you’re instantly beta bucks. Most likely you are not good looking enough to also be alpha bucks. Considering any doctor I have ever seen in my life.

[–]ThenIJizzedInMyPants0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

my thoughts exactly. high paid stable career = instant beta bux if you don't know how to play it

[–]beginner_6 points7 points  (5 children) | Copy

As a doctor you're instantly top 1%.

Are you? First you have a very long education racking up your debt (unless you are already rich) and working your ass off with long and terrible hours. Then once you get the title "doctor" your still "nothing" really. Maybe it's different in US but here medical school takes 6 years. The you are and "assistent doctor" (if you find a job). You still get the shitty and long hours and an slightly above average salary but for sure you fare much worse than an office worker doing 9-5 while you earn the same at 60hr weeks. It takes another 5+ to finish your specialty. Only then will you make bank, if you find a job. But the long hours will stay and most that enter medical school won't ever make it there.

You are in the 1% wage with after a 12 year education and worse hours than a CEO has. You will have to drop all your hobbies and probably lose friends along the way because you have no time plus often will have to cancel on them.

Plus depending on what you are do, your constantly exposed to sick people especially now with covid19 a serious risk. Going to medical school and being a doctor only makes sense if that is your hobby.

[–]maestrulwro6 points7 points  (1 child) | Copy

Eastern Europe here. 6 years for a "bachelor+master" in Medicine and then the specialty which is 3-6 years before being a real doctor (+2 years I think for a PhD, but you can do that in parralel with the specialty and not everybody does that).

Couldn't agree more. I personally lost my LTR (beta times) because Uni related stress and because I didn't have enough time for her. Well, I didn't have time for anything except formal courses and minimal learning at home.

Medical students have potential to become rich and successful, but the truth is that girls will not sacrifice themselves to a potential, but they'd rather live life while in Uni (with boys having more spare time, energy and money), and then find a beta doctor after he became rich.

[–]beginner_11 points12 points  (0 children) | Copy

Actually it's more a "keep panties on for several dates so he doesn't think I'm a slut" trigger. If you play the beta game you get the beta response. Doctor = money + stable = provider. rock star = money + excitement = lover

I used to get really pissed off like you until I understood fundamentally how men and women are. Looking at a pure wilderness perspective;

Women - they innately would want the best resources for their offspring and protection in their wilderness due to their smaller stature and strength compared to men on average . This day and age - wealth or status shows that the person would be a perfect candidate as a high probability with resource providing. Social standing meaning you are witty enough to pull resources to eventually provide, thus making your worthwhile to have a offspring with

Men - innately like beautiful younger women. This is because it exhibits high fertility and strong genetics to pass on genes. In other ways men complaint about gold diggers, women complain about guys constantly leaving and looking for younger beautiful women, because it's naturally in us.

Yes there are women that people have perceived them as a good girl to have stuck through with their man through med school, starving artist, struggling entrepreneur etc, but it's because they saw that it was a great bet to put on, so really does that make them any different than the gold digger? Difference would be of them knowing how to properly place their bet and using patience. The gold digger wants to see immediate results so doesn't know how to play the long game . Also a perceived "gold digger" is just more blatantly obvious about it versus let's say a women that got herself educated and has a high social standing that scored herself a high flying wall st financier. No one would call her a gold digger cuz the way she went out about it, but realistically if she wasn't a gold digger she should've settled for the bag boy at the local grocery store since she can provide given her background - who do you think would treat her better and not cheat, bag boy versus wall st guy? who do you think would effectively provide for her offsprings better bag boy or wall st guy?

Once you see the true nature of things then it'll help unlock a flood of women for you to your advantage. I used to be a guy that held strong principles and be very bitter of "gold diggers", but now I just see it is for what it is. It's like getting mad at gravity for making things fall and the apple hitting your head. If you understand the nature of it you can use it towards your advantage and catch the apple to eat instead it hitting your head.

After I accepted and understood the nature of things I was able to sleep with countless women and exponentially keeps growing. Before changing my thought I could count and would be able to remember every single women I slept with my hands. Hope this helps

[–]TransitionOne3 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy

This makes no sense. How successful you are is part of who you are - it shows how smart, ambitious and how hard you can work for a goal. This would be like her sending you ugly fake pictures of herself and expecting you to like her because of her personality. It's millions of years of evolution - we care about how they look, they care about being protected. You're probably young and have spent too much time on these subs and not enough in real life - relax, not all the girls are out to get your money. Btw, it's funny how it's mostly guys who don't have any money that are worried about gold-diggers

[–]throwawayandtossout1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Re: your last sentence, I don't think it's funny per se, I think it actually makes a lot of sense.

I just graduated with an advanced healthcare degree (not MD) and have the luxury that money will most likely never be an issue for me ever again. When I was dating during my training, I was much more conscientious about paying vs. seeing if the girl would offer, split, etc. I had no problem offering and paying, but it was definitely something on my mind.

Now, I'm making bank! And I've noticed it isn't nearly as on my mind as it was before. Do I let women take advantage of me? Hell no! But the entire money issue has faded towards the back of my mind more when thinking about a woman, her intentions, red flags, etc. Why? Because I've developed an abundance mindset when it comes to money. How/why did I do that? Because I actually have an abundance now!

An abundance mindset in all aspects of life works towards a man's advantage, and I think taking the necessary steps (research on which degrees pay, diligently pursuing that prize job, etc.) is a huge part of what it takes to develop this mindset specifically when it comes to job/money. Now developing an abundance mindset when it comes to women is a very different story. The approach in my mind is very different .. much more mental than practical.

Careful there, you might meet the 1 in a million that would actually see you for who you are regardless of what you do for a living. Granted, that case scenario may never come true.

[–]Joe_Doblow2 points3 points  (4 children) | Copy

I wouldn’t call it gold diggers. I call it not wanting to be with a bum. Being able to afford certain things that maybe someone making $50k a year couldn’t like the combo of violin, dance, and gymnastics lessons for example.

Social economic class is important. Nowadays women today have decent jobs and they still don’t want to be with a guy who has roommates or doesn’t own a car at 30 years old or something.

I mean would you marry a chick who is a bum. You want her to raise bum kids. No. A women doesn’t want that either

[–]syg1114 points5 points  (3 children) | Copy

Well - why doesn’t she earn it herself? Are you American? Because I’m European - I am a lifelong fan of the USA in nearly all aspects - with one exception; the gender relations. I like to read about them from time to time them with the same enjoyment like every kind of freak show or accident compilation on YouTube can bring. American feminism is hysterically aggressive. You have affirmative action for women. Title IX. Divorce laws are more pro women than in Europe (child support, alimony.) And these b***s are still grabbing for the money. Do they feel any shame at any point in their life? I guess you are a man? How submissive is the upbringing and attitude of American men towards the women that it doesn’t bother you? American pop culture likes to joke about French men (I’m not French, but have been there often) to be effeminate - believe me, they wouldn’t put up with this.

[–]ASTRA-LUX2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Agreed 100%

Feminism is cancer which is why I've been living in Japan since '04 and my partner is from Scandinavia. The US is literally falling apart thanks to the SJW motherfuckery.

[–]jm510 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

believe me, they wouldn’t put up with this.

French men put up with worse.

Would you rather date a call center customer service agent or a doctor? Honestly. The fact that the doctor makes 6 figures is not even the point. Who would you rather raise your kids, what social circles would you rather be around, level of intellect, level of tenacity to finish dr school etc. of course you’d pick the doctor it’s common sense. The job is a type of indicator of who the person is. I’m not saying their aren’t gold diggers out there but but for a chick to like you because you’re a future doctor isn’t 100% gold digging

[–]robot3000_010 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Women aren't gold-diggers. By only fucking alphas they make it quite clear they couldn't give a fuck about your resources status or game

the majority of women are simply gold-diggers

I suppose you can't really blame them as they're looking for support. Survival is a basic instinct we all share.

That having been said, she has to have something to bring to the table, and it sounds like commitment...the most basic, fundamental thing any woman can bring...ain't it.

She ain't got nothin' the higher-quality pool to which you'll have access won't have. Swipe left.

ABSOLUTELY!! I'm a board certified Emergency Physician and I'm 44 and red pilled after my attorney ex-wife handed me my ass in court 12 years ago. I plate average 3 women a week and always get new ones in rotation. All these chicks see is the house with a pool and hot tub, the motorcycles & cars and the trips. Which they get while I'm interested. But get used to never fooling yourself for a second that once your status drops or you get sick they'll ditch you in a heartbeat for a better deal.

I had a LTR for 8 years but we weren't married and she brought chicks home with her. I knew I'd never get married again and I WONT!! She left me sick in the hospital with Co-Vid while working on the frontlines in NYC. They're all cum-guzzling mattress-backed bindle queens that'd sell that 2 inches of real estate for a better way of life. Trust me, they're nothing but the sum of their private parts.

[–]reddit_hypnosis113 points114 points  (10 children) | Copy

Do they feel regret? I dont think so. That would require critical objective thought.

She doesn't feel regret. She feels you fucked up twice but eventually you got it together and made it into medical school. So now you are worthy of being with her again.

Theres no way women regret much. They just rewrite history in their minds to wipe all 'regret' away before it can take hold.

If you want to test this, imagine 15 years from now, youre with her.. and shes pissed off at you. Youre working long hours. You didn't get the promotion at the hospital you wanted. Youre still in debt from medical school. Your nieghbor, since you live in a nice neighborhood of people similar to you, is also a doctor but went to a better school (not that shitty DO school you had to go to), did his fellowship at Yale while yours was at some shithole place you dragged your gf to for another year. Shes so pissed off at you she yells out "Youre such an idiot you couldn't even get INTO medical school. I should have married someone smart like neighborsname___.

This kind of statement is made by TONS of women the world over. So tell me, do you really think she would regret not sticking by a dude that couldnt get into medicals school?

PS, dont go into radiology.

Yesterday we were introduced to the phenomenon of the FrankenChad. Basically a woman’s ideal man is a sum total of all the chads she has dated minus the simps to create a FrankenChad.

Op is definitely not her FrankenChad

She is just in it for the new money and status. She dreams of her quest for FrankenChad while sitting sipping mojitos in the morning in a white picket fence and on allowance while OP bares working 14 hours in dangerous frontlines to give his wife “a good life”

[–]nofappist2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

FrankenChad is a concept as old as the red pill, it's the appropriate name that is new.

[–]mtl_dood1 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy

That's like saying don't go into dentistry because in the future (present) 90% of the work is done by dental hygienists.

Once we have robo-readers we will simply take 5X as many scans and robots will filter them and the radiologists will get last call. They probably do half as much work and make even more money because now they have to "learn how to operate" the robo-readers too.

This happens in every profession. Lasik eye surgery? It's all robot, and the nurses do all the prep. Doctor just flips the laser on and does 20 patients per day at 2k per eye.

I'm a surgeon and have been working private for many years and am a partner/part owner in a group that owns multiple clinics all over the us. Trust me she isn't worth the squeeze. First med school is tough as balls especially if you want to rank high on matches. You won't meet higher quality girls in med school or hospitals... dont shit where you eat. I can get into a whole spiel about that feel free to pm me.

Work on your craft and perfect it. Make sure you workout and don't be like your peers. Most of my classmates are now are balding, fat, stuck with kids, or shitty wife, divorce raped etc. I am not even 40 yet and can pretty much retire. I fuck 20 and 30 year olds. You probably will do well not letting chicks know what you do and keep a low profile. However, that isnt fool proof. Because of what you do, you have to really watch your back for predators....u have to keep your frame but don't be an asshole.

I even have a cheaper airbnb condo for chicks i dont know well that I pass as my home so they don't really know where I live and my real home.

Girls regret shit all the time but that doesn't matter. You want to make sure you don't regret your actions. Just because you got into med school doesn't mean you're set for life. The road just gets harder. Stay humble, work hard, be smart and you'll be rewarded.

[–]Coupedaloop13 points14 points  (1 child) | Copy

Well said. I’m going to piggy back on this. As a freshly graduated resident myself do not date anyone in your medical school, hospital, or residency. I’ve seen guys get sexual harassment and title 9 complaints for literally nothing (most of the allegations were completely fabricated). You have worked too hard to get where you are to have it taken away from you and to have more stress piled on you. Distance yourself from women you work with as to not start rumors and focus on getting through it. Medicine can attract some fucked up women (doctors and nurses alike) so be careful. I never post on reddit but this advice up here is golden. Trust me.

DO school focuses on osteopathy, a pseudoscience that believes you can cure ailments by massaging muscles and realigning bones, shit along those lines. It's on the same level as homepathy and is an insult to MD's to even compare the two.

They are licensed by two completely different boards and although they study similar information, if there is a candidate with identical credentials for residency, the MD student will be chosen everytime over the DO student.

In my honest opinion, If she ain’t with you at your lowest point in life, then it’s not worth being with her at your highest.

Do girls ever go through regrets and realizing they had something good and lost it?

They also like to maintain their victim role so they won't directly come out and apologize. Instead they'll preset themselves as a good person and just "want to be there for you" or "just check on you to see how you've been" mean while they are doing shit for other reasons. What you need to focus on is the fact that she found out about you being accepted? How did she do that? Are you guys still friends on social media and she saw a post? Did someone tell her, or is she just straight up keeping tabs on you?

Most women go with the safest option, or the best bet. Think about as they measure the difference between "potential and kinetic relationship energy." You going to medical school cool. Oh but you didn't get in though? No point in sticking around is there? So she plays the field while keeping an eye on you. As soon as she finds out you got in, rubber bands back into your life.

I definitely don't want her back cause I know there's higher quality women to meet in medical school and at hospitals.

Smart man. I understand why you got into medical school.

I'm sure they can feel regret, but she might just want you back for the money, I would not go back if I were you.

She doesn’t regret dumping you, she regrets not realizing she couldn’t do better

women stand at the finish line

on the plus side, always remember: they would rather share an alpha. use that.

Yes, they do go through regrets sometimes, but it is important that you not take her back. You can't re-create the past. You don't need to be rude or anything, but don't get back with her.

Holy shit same 😂

Was it a bad breakup?

Did she say anything more than congratulations?

If not, she could just be reacting to your Facebook update or whatever.

Or she could be hoping you hit her back and start again. But, without more than that it’s hard to tell. Believe whatever makes you feel good I guess

Ya it was bad, we were on again off again like three times before finally calling it quits, but its been years and we dont harbor any bad feelings towards each other, were just amicable

Why is this a question? Block and move on.

Don’t believe her even if she shed some crocodile tears for not understanding you well. Girls are all about money. I was the same at your age but when i grew older(33 Now) I realised they only think about money and how could they benefit. Just stick on the purpose and slam like 100’s of them before settling down.

You’re her meal ticket

Fuck her (with protection) and ghost her

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
