According to the IFS, childlessness is going to soar in the coming decades. Over 25% of women born in 1992 will never have children (compared with 10% born in 1944). This number is likely to continue skyrocketing for every year after 1992 births as well.

It means >30% of men born in 92 will never have kids too.

When they reach 40 or 45 and are alone or without children, will society change? Will they push younger generations towards conservatism? Will they start killing themselves? Will they be perfectly content?

One thing I've noticed already is an increase in childless characters in media, as well as the normalization of abortion in plot lines.
