To each their own, OP. Much of the community enjoys the pursuit of random women, which is fine for them to do. I stopped enjoying it around your age in favor of maximizing my own potential and trajectory. You do you, and if doing you involves not fucking women in favor of LTR or monk mode, so be it. The only thing I would advise is to never allow yourself to become complacent. Getting into an LTR is easy, but keeping an LTR, specifically a happy one, is difficult in that it can be easy to lose your alpha status and allow things to become stagnant. Always keep your edge, for it is the threat of the act of war that keeps the peace.

OP, I'm 35. Yes. Random, forgettable girls whose faces you can't remember over time def can get old. But so did my relationships.

What I have right now is 4 girls I regularly fuck. Each I guess you could call a plate with whom I share diff types of interaction, depending on the vibe between us. Some I cook with, some I go out with, some I watch movies with, some I get massages from and share pillow talk, some sleep over, you get the idea. Will I keep them all? No. Will I miss them? Sure. But I see it like professional sports - players change, game stays the same.

But you are goddamn right. None come before career, college, goals, anything important. And they know that.

I also regularly meet new women. Because I love fucking new girls. I just do. And they know that too.

Why did I mention my age? Cus in the 13 years between my age and yours, a shit ton has changed. Think about how much you've changed between today and when you were 9.

Should you take a break? I don't know. Kill the fuck out of your goals, and if you have time left over for pussy, great. If not, so be it.

What gets old is the effort it takes just to have meaningless sex. As you get older you want your relationships with women to have some sort of meaning and substance behind them. Yeah I get tired of it and there’s nothing wrong with that. I’m about the same age as you, just finishing up undergrad at a large university. I went on a several-month hiatus from randoms and it was great. I made a lot more memories with close friends than I would have had I been running around chasing hole every night.

There’s a sweet spot for everybody. Throwing a random hook up in here and there is good fun, but too much and it gets old fast. Fulfillment starts with your standards and if you’re often finding yourself in bed next to someone you just don’t care to be around, you may need to make some adjustments.
