In the old days men used to learn from other men. They used to work with their fathers or apprentices or whatever. Nowadays children either have no father, or he works so much that he has hardly any time to spend with kids. Women raise men now and although they do their best, there are certain things that must be learned from other men, in order to truly become a man. This is lacking in our culture. We are a nation of children masquerading as adults. There are other reasons too, but I think this has a lot to do with the feminization of males in society.

[–]furcryingoutloud83 points84 points  (4 children) | Copy

In my opinion, this is the only answer here that is most near the truth. Men being raised by single mothers. And not blaming the single mothers, but without men role models, we have what we have now, emasculated men. Soon there will be no men to teach boys manly values that can only be learned from men.

The emasculation is real.

[–]livear26 points27 points  (2 children) | Copy

Why are you not blaming single mothers?

They literally failed in one of the most important duties of their life to choose a decent man out of the thousands of men asking them out everyday.

Women are also responsible for initiating like 80% of divorces.

So not only they are choosing the wrong men, they are choosing to become single mothers.

And as long as single mothers don't starve in the cold like they used to, nothing will change.

Widows get sympathy, single mothers are scum.

[–]furcryingoutloud9 points10 points  (0 children) | Copy

Why are you not blaming single mothers?

Because it would not solve the problem. Ok, say it's all their fault, (it isn't), now what? The problem doesn't go away by blaming a subset of society and saying "there, now that we have a culprit, ......". YOU now have a culprit, you gonna put them in jail? Blaming is not the solution.

Women are not taught, and are also incapable of teaching a boy how to be a man. Sometimes. I have met and learned of several that have made good men. Though that is only anecdotal from my point of view.

Women are also responsible for initiating like 80% of divorces.

So? Though that figure may be true, it doesn't solve the issue either.

Widows get sympathy, single mothers are scum.

So last century and useless. Now that you found the culprit and categorized them, what's your plan, we get out the pitchforks?

Boys need men during their upbringing. Society in general has been slowly facilitating boy's segregation from men without replacing this need. By empowering women to the point where there are no repercussions to a mother for keeping their kids away from their fathers. This may be changing, too little too late for a couple generations. By then, what we'll have is a slew of non-men trying to teach boys manly things they never learned.

The market solution is that men are more and more opting out of marriage and a crisis will develop where there won't be enough men willing to get into a traditional relationship.

Most women want the wedding, not the marriage. They don't want marriage, they want to be sugar babies.

Where are they learning this? Why aren't educational systems in place where people are taught the necessities that each gender has? The educational system sucks. Hell, they don't even teach you how to balance a checkbook! Financial strategies.

Both men and women are woefully unprepared for the future. If this continues, men will be going to beauty salons instead of fishing. Or is that a thing yet?

I don't have a solution, because if you think about it long enough, it's damned hard to cover all the bases without fucking it up. I do know that placing blame is a useless act and should be avoided. The focus should be in finding solutions so we, as a society can develop human beings with knowledge in the roles they are expected to play within society in order to strengthen the human race. And definitely not trying to bring us back 100 years.

[–]cdogg751 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

would you know how to raise a young girl into a woman successfully? I doubt it. You can do your best to raise a good person, but that's as far as you will get.

Yes, women are responsible for 80% of divorces, but you sound like you are under the assumption that these women all got married first, to a great guy. They probably married an emasulated guy and eventually was tired of it.

Try finding a good man out there in a sea of boys...you're definitely gonna choose wrong most of the time.

This is the only explanation I could think of. I actually work with my father, he taught me a lot about what it is to be a man and take accountability and face uncertainty with dignity. When I was growing up he would walk in my room and say "come here boy" and I knew right away he had a task for me. Get me a 3/4 socket, hold this light, cut the grass, take out the trash. At the time I was a little resentful, I wanted to play Diablo 2 on the desktop he hooked me up with. Now I look at those memories fondly, I learned a lot and how I am today is why people admire me. Because I'm helpful I'm respectful I have a sense of self because of him. My mother taught me how to cook though and that helps a lot with my home life so she played a role as well.

[–]omega_dawg9335 points36 points  (0 children) | Copy

it is also by design. a lot of the laws put in place that greatly harm men (divorce & child custody) were written by men... not women.

they were put in place to protect women of that day from being homeless, victimized, etc. but those guys didn't see the big huge feminism wave coming and now you have, "women are equal but you're not changing any of those social protections" killing marriage and breaking a man's will to stay and raise his children.

top that off with turbo charged hypergamy, "you go girl" slut encouragement, and neck cranking, "i don't need no man... I'm the mama & the daddy" attitudes and here we are.

as a friend stated recently... "good thing they own vaginas... bc otherwise men would likely hunt today's woman for sport." ouch.

[–]dcmcmd8 points9 points  (0 children) | Copy

I would add to this that the arrival of women in the workforce, along with continuing development / expansion of social welfare, and the resultant ability of women to self-sustain (in short - the movement away from the traditional family model) has caused a crisis of purpose in many young men.

Setting aside any moral or ethical question about the role of a man as the head of, and provider for, a family - when you take that function away or downgrade it, it leaves men searching for (and failing to easily find) alternative meaning. What does it mean to be masculine (i.e. distinct from a woman?)

Some will go their own way and derive purpose from whatever fulfilling job, hobby or other activity they set themselves to, and assert their identity in that way. But many others will struggle to see what they bring to the table (or even where their particular table is.)

I say this with no judgement on whether this is good, bad, whatever. It's just how it seems to me. But it's in the interests of everyone in society, whatever their views or gender, that young men understand how to be men, and what their positive contribution to society can be. Otherwise we end up with chaos.

[–]Mewster18181 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Well men have worked long, hard hours away from home for centuries, only boys used to be able to accompany their fathers on certain occasions as rites of becoming a man starting from a relatively young age. Likewise schools used to be commonly separated into boy's and girl's institutions, allowing boys to develop as boys.

This! And third wave feminism.

Much of masculinity basically got shat on. Single mothers, and women raising boys is great, good on them.

However, it does create men detached from their masculinity, and not aware of their masculine role. It is very difficulty for someone who is a woman, has lived her entire life through female experience, and possesses female nature, to teach a boy how to be a man. They impart feminine values onto him, without a male voice to balance it, or offset it. They don't get a male's perspective on things.

It's ok, the mothers provide, raise them well...but there is something huge missing. Childhood is were we begin learnt behaviour, and without a male role model, showing strong healthy male behaviour, attitudes or perspectives, it doesn't just happen automatically.

We unconsciously learn to listen to women too much, and seek their approval. We also place their value higher than ours, as we learnt to do with our single mothers. We become subservient to a female...and it just fucks up our sex ual dynamic.

Third wave feminism is much the cause, too. They consistent tear down masculinity. Being a man means rape, controlling, anger, wars, jealousy, assault etc. They tell us to become the opposite. 'Don't be a man, and you'll be rewarded'. Who do we listen to again? More women. We were made to fear being un-pc.

Why the pill is so important. Helps us remember what we are as strong, healthy, leading men.

[–]TheStumblingWolf0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I can confirm this is the case for me at least, having been raised by a single mother.

I believe that nature works with balance (as a natural consequence of there, in most species, being 2 genders). For a balanced upbringing one must be exposed to both feminine and masculine behavior. Society today, as you say, mostly expose kids to the feminine (in whatever form that may take). Now we're seeing the results of a lack of masculinity.

Women are everywhere in the educational system. There are no male teachers literally. The education system in America's fucking retarded compared to the East.

Too much media BS. Lots of social media BS.

Yeah. Feminism. The very understanding that men and women are very different is long forgotten under propaganda, but it's very much there and hasn't changed a bit - but it's got distorted into unhealthy expressions.

Or let me be more blunt, most modern feminists are fuckin' brain damaged BPD nutcases - walking bodies of neediness, pain, ego and narcissism. You want people like that to reform a society?

Feminism is killing attraction by turning men effeminate and women more masculine (but also far crazier). SMV killer.

Women are invading all male spaces including the gents bathroom in the normal cycle of space creation and takeover. (Men create space, women jump on, women turn it into all female space, men leave and make new space).

Divorces and anti male laws and single mothers. Divorce rape.

A life of luxury, ease and mass porn, drugs, alcohol and video games -- basically over masturbation and waste of life energy (it's a real thing, you'll find out when you quit and start lifting). Too much comfort kills the masculine.

The idea that pleasure is the goal when in reality it's an anesthetic for the mind to avoid facing itself and reality. The reality it needs to accept for it's own evolution.

Men thinking that finding the one woman is the goal of existence and loving her in a needy dependent way -- and the rest of the BP myths.

Not nearly enough survival pressure.

Validation addiction - right from childhood, kids are taught to depend too much on praise and validation for the most tiniest of things. So much so that if you don't tell your child 50 times a day you love him and praise him because he got out of bed, he gets insecure and shatters. And so one rejection later, teenager feels suicidal and has self esteem issues. Seriously WTF is this!? Feels, feels, ego pampering feels, over the right thing. Zero outcome independence.

In those days men and boys worked hard to earn their place. Men should do what is needed because it's the right thing to do, without validation from anyone, even if it is unpopular. They have to generate their own inner strength and get proactive, stop being addicted to others' approval. Kids brought up on praise and validation are utterly needy and weak and dependent on results - their whole existence is conditional and reactive, subject to someone pampering their egos.

Plastic products and xenoestrogens in every god damn thing. Men's T levels are 1/2 to 1/3rd of what they used to be while women's estrogen levels are rising. Most of men's sperm is dead compared to many decades back.

Terrible dietary habits. Not nearly enough physical activity or exposure to the elements.

Too many men separated from their own masculinity by confusing messages from women that give a) zero true insight into the actual nature of the human being and b) are absolutely terrible at precisely identifying the real issues in detail and c) are feminine in nature

Men have forgotten their natural sexual instincts in their attempts to focus on pleasing women in bed. As mrp guys swear, it's actually the strength of a man's own passion to which women react and are attracted to. Your animal brain was right all along.

Men and boys separated from male role models - teachers and fathers and losing the masculine energy they need.

Modern work life balance sucks. Fathers who work too hard can't spend time with their kids. And sitting in chairs kills even more T.

The modern educational system wants to keep you in school and classrooms till 25-30. Academics itself is geared to be more suitable for women. That lack of life experience means it takes an extra decade for men to peak.

Too much feeling. Not enough focus on strength or stability or peace.

Not nearly enough spirituality to stop every god damn mental disorder.

Men not being proactive enough to create their own power and maintain it in any form - giving it away to women to easily not realizing that equality is all about power play and power only. All men becoming too reactive and then expecting that someone (women) will give them power, and why would they do that? Damn, in hindsight it's obvious.

Men listening to fairness logic, totally ignoring the egocentric, physical, psychological and emotional realities of human beings and animals.

Nerd culture and lack of exercise hurting posture and T levels - nerdiness is a recent phenomenon.

Stuff like metoo, which are ripe for false allegations.

Rise of the pill, which affects women's personalities and mate preferences.

Men being unable to generate their own abundance, becoming too dependent on women, kids, and results to stay motivated.

A politically correct Machiavellian culture abhorring the direct expression of the male. Everyone's offended because people are too jobless outside Twitter and FB and tabloid media.

Silicon Valley culture.

The idea that women's ways of thinking and feeling are the only correct ways.

Technology's making men autistic. Way too much short term multi tasking. We've forgotten stuff like reading body language, which our cats and dogs are better at doing than us.

Our minds are weaker. Instant ads, internet, news, youtube, TV, and distractions everywhere have brought our attention span down to a few seconds. Who among us can sit and focus on one thing for like 15 min, let alone like a Buddhist monk? Instant gratification's fucked a whole generation. Your smartphone is making you dumb.

More BP myths like the myth of that one magical passion and that romantic crap. It's made our whole existence conditional, waiting for that perfect something that never comes.

Pop culture. Seriously, those effeminate manginas and their BP music, crooning like girls and their emotional problems. When did all this petty feels feels stuff become this serious? Quit that shit. Real problems are so terrible if you see them, you'll be grateful by default and will find this stuff absurdly immature.

I can go on forever. What isn't fucked up?

And you know who's job is it to resolve all this? Yours and ours, as men. No one will resolve them for us. We've got to get proactive - it is simply not masculine energy if it ain't proactive. Leadership is self generated, that's why it's leadership. At least step up and vote as a first step, even there women vote more, then go and lift and get responsible.

Glad I swallowed the red pill at age 20 (22 now) after being raised by a single mother. It has honestly made my life much easier. Sounds cringey, but we have the ability to see what other men (under age 40 or so) can't.

This post is incredibly good and spot on. Every single thing. I never realized how much of a little child i was at 30 years when i was masturbating, watching anime, playing video games, not lifting, overindulged in porn and created disgusting fetishes cucking myself until i stopped masturbating and with that also stopped other dumb addictions and finally becoming a real man. Really feeling that masculine energy within me, using it to build myself

xenoestrogens... this is also by design. it feminizes men (creating the low T issues that have been falling for decades now) but excess estrogen also makes women more emotional, irrational, & unstable.

[–]SKRedPill1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

More T. Go lift, do something with intensity.

Watch sports - because that's one place where masculine expressions come out, but they also need to keep their head on their shoulders in the middle of a battle, or else they'll lose it. It's a little bit of controlled insanity -- you let the horse loose but keep your hands on the reins at all times. Intensity is raw masculine energy. Just do anything with a combination of intensity and intelligent awareness just because, and you'll never feel more alive.

[–]Chad173814 points15 points  (0 children) | Copy

The deterioration of the education system.

[–]Jcorb14 points15 points  (0 children) | Copy

I think there are a ton of factors. Something I would point to as something people don't like to acknowledge, though, is that women entering the work-force during WW2 is probably the biggest factor.

I mean, think about it; for the first time, women were no longer reliant on men. That, in and of itself, is actually a good thing. The problem is that it left many men without a feeling of purpose. Furthermore, it essentially doubled the amount of people looking for most of the same jobs, making it more difficult than ever before for men to be able to provide for themselves, let alone someone else. Couple that with the laws put into place to protect women in the workplace, which has increasingly put a strain on men "being men", and it's lead to Western culture generally growing more and more intolerant of masculine traits.

That's been taken to the natural extreme where, instead of simply being recognized as equal, many women has pushed to be treated the same as their male counterparts. In some ways, that's good. In other ways, though... well, it's just radically changed the day-to-day environments of a lot of men. Really, the only "male workplaces" left are low-paying, manual labor jobs. As someone who used to be a mechanic, who over the past decade has transitioned to working in an office, the differences are innumerable.

Now, for the record, I actually enjoy the work environment of the office job, which is probably half (or more) female staff. It's very "professional" and "business-only", whereas the physical labor jobs I had, both as mechanic and woodworker, most of the guys I worked with were all complete assholes. But then, who knows how the change has really impacted me? (other than constantly trying not to picture my female coworkers naked)

Just my two cents.

[–]spider_133712 points13 points  (7 children) | Copy

Its not really needed per say anymore if you think about it. Technology has become the main replacement of masculinity and besides corporations dont need masculine men. Beta men are easier to control and lead which is why the mass consumarisim culture we in the west live in promote values that are anti-masculine. The system are forefathers built is basically used to enslave us

[–]revaforce[S] 5 points6 points  (6 children) | Copy

Yes, and as someone in one of TRP’s top comments said, “All that matters now is if you can fuck and fight, everything else can be done by machines or emulated by women.” Something like that

TV. it is the biggest programming mechanism there is. in the 80's there were shows like Ateam, knight rider, dukes of hazzard all glamorizing the roles of men. then came sienfeld and freinds, and all those shows that helped push the emasculinizaion of men.

compare Ross Gellar to Micheal Knight, or Seinfeld to Hannibal. soy boys became the new heros. Joey is the most masculine on freinds and he was often shamed for being too manly.

The cultural marxists took over our institutions, starting with the universities and extending to government and corporate America - you would not believe the amount of "feel good" bullshit I read in contracts, and it's fun getting it removed, "Iz you a FASCIST ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE?!?! WHO COULD BE AGAINST THIS?!?!" Me: "Anyone with a brain. You don't leave bear traps laying around you can step in them. This stuff has no business in a commercial contract," - and have now infected primary and secondary schooling. The SJW curriculum is in full effect and we now get to watch the West go down the drain.

Third wave feminism is a by product of this - first and second wave are understandable, but 3rd wave feminism is all about hating men, and women whining about how "oppressed" they are - and upper middle class white women are basically the least oppressed people in the History of Forever.

So yeah, unless there's some sort of Apocalypse - which there will be - we're fucked. In the mean time, put in some food and water and supplies, make sure you have enough ammo (hint: the only time you don't need * more* ammo is if you are swimming or on fire), and enjoy a cocktail.

[–]organicfluxx0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

I'm curious, what sort of feel good bullshit is in the contracts you see these days? Aren't these contracts prepared by actual lawyers? Why is there sjw bs in em?

[–]Senior EndorsedVasiliyZaitzev2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

You'd be amazed. Lots of bullshit about how you agree to sign on to the other party's 'Social Responsibility' policy, or agree to import anti-Corruption laws from some other jurisdiction - ex. I was dealing with a subsidiary of a UK company recently that wanted reference the UK Bribery Act. "What can be wrong with that?" you might say, "You're not going to bribe anyone, are you?" That's not the point. The point is you don't leave holes around that you can step in and break your ankle. Go ask Michael Flynn how he feels about talking to the FBI.1 So for a deal that was going to be wholly-performed within the USA, between two American companies (one a subsidiary of a UK conglomerate, which is what was driving this), and a New York "choice of law" clause, WHY the fuck would we want to separately agree that UK law would also apply? Spoiler Alert: We wouldn't. So I refused. UK Law hasn't applied in the US since 1776. Fuck off with that shit. Don't invite the devil into your house.

I worked on a deal last year with a big bank - think "Too Big To Fail"2 - that had a bunch of shit in it about compliance. I don't mean the usual stuff that you have to do, I mean a bunch of made-up shit that was designed to make them "look good" for the regulators. Except it only applied to us. Now, the firm that I work for actually has a pretty spotless reputation. OTOH, if you google the Bank and "Fraud" you get hundreds of hits on how they were fined BILLIONS of dollars for committing fraud. So why would this shitola only apply to us? It's not "us" with the fraud problem.

Another outfit wanted us to sing on to some "Association of Widget Makers Industrial Policy" bullshit. Lots of crap, plus we were supposed to FORCE our tier 1 suppliers (and they, in turn, if they signed on) to sign onto it. Fuck that noise. I'm not going to waste a second of my life trying to nag people that we already have contracts with to sign on to some bullshit that doesn't apply to them. So we walked from the deal for what turned out to be about 6 months, before they came back and told us that they'd gotten zero traction with their shitty idea and abandoned it, and could we do the deal now? Everyone has their own "Green" policy and their own "Social Responsibility" policy and their own "Diversity" policy and their own "Save The Unborn Baby Gay Russian Whales" policy. Fine. Nobody wants protesters picketing them or "60 Minutes" or "Dateline" showing up at their offices. But then something goes bad, and all that compliance shit bites you on the ass because you get audited (which you stupidly also agreed to) and failure to comply is a material breach and suddenly your deal blows up when you're out of the money (and don't think that this sort of shit has't been 'though of' when it was beneficial.)

So yeah, never put a gun to your head for no reason.

1 Never do this. 18 USC 1001. You think you're just "talking" or even cooperating with agents and then you get hit with a criminal charge because you didn't record it, and there were two agents (there are always 2) and you're talking to the 1 guy and the other one is taking notes, whatever he puts in the notes becomes the record. Whatever he puts in the notes. For a more general discussion of why you shouldn't talk the police, watch this. Be polite, say, "Hey I'd like to cooperate, but I prefer to deal through my attorney." Why? Because anything you say is an admission; anything your lawyer says is $350 and hour.

2 Yeah. So were the fucking dinosaurs.

Everyone here is wrong. The correct answer is that nothing in particular happened in the last 10-20 years, it happened in 1935 and it was called Social Security. Birth control also helped, we can talk about that too, but by far the primary issue is social security.

Oh, you think it's bullshit that a program that is 83 years old would have waited so long to change society? Well, it's not really that surprising, because it takes a while for societies values to change. Each generation, we lose a little bit, until the foundation falls out from under us.

First we need to establish that in 1935 few people truly retired. Multi-generational living was common, and while /u/Notfappening claims that people were raised by their father, that wasn't the case, they were traditionally raised by their grandparents. Fathers worked MORE hours historically than they do today. If you were alive in the early 1800's you could expect to work 10 hour days, and here in the U.S. eight hour days weren't a thing until 1869, but just like today, workers were often expected to work more and not clock in and out. It took the work of lots of unions to get the Eight Hour Proclamation to actually be that, just 8 hours. This was all changing in the late 1800s and early 1900s, and when a man came home, he wasn't switching on a TV or sitting on a couch, he was chopping wood, or repairing worn out equipment or working side jobs to help provide. We work LESS now than we did then. Women had less luxuries and were expected to spend hours doing things that take us minutes, including hand washing clothing, walking to a butcher, walking to a dry foods store, walking to a farmers market. There weren't grocery stores that had everything like we have today. Then the woman had to cook, and it was much more labor intensive than it was today because there was little pre-prepared food. Even with urban apartment life a woman would be expected to have food ready, have the place dusted, have clothing cleaned, help get the kids ready for school, help teach the kids when they returned from school, make the children new outfits and repair broken outfits, teach the children their prayers and pray with them (often nightly and during storytime). If she lived in a rural environment she would have farm animals to feed/milk. Women were also community organizers in some respects, setting up and coordinating shows and events especially for the children. Women also helped to care for the elderly, and would bathe and wash the mans parents if they were incapable or be used as extra hands for the older folks if needed. Depending on health she might dictate chores to the elderly, as a home was considered a womans domain, and men, while patriarchs, were often expected to follow a womans requests. They didn't view it as "beta" because the woman scolded them for taking off their shoes. Let the woman have her house, the rest of the world belonged to men.

Older movies (as in pre-WWII movies) had this dynamic portrayed fairly accurately.

So by 1935, you had older people living with their children, and the older people would hang out with the kids a lot while the husband and wife did all the hard shit.

Then we pass social security and BOOM now the husband and wife no longer need to take on the burden of caring for their parents, since their parents just get a check in the mail, but they had been raised that way and always saw it work that way, so multigenerational housing continued to be popular until post WWII when an exceptionally independent bunch of men returning home from war, wealthy with their GI bill all went out and bought their own homes and started new families often void of their parents.

By the 1960's the baby boomers didn't really know of a world where multi-generational housing was a thing, and because they were so wealthy, they could afford to fuck off a bit, it was nice for them. Responsibility wasn't needed, but the birth control pill was still new, and the state still was very strict on ethics, they would take away single mothers children (ever watch Mad Men, that's what happens to Pete and Peggy's baby, Peggy is forced to give the baby up for adoption because the state doesn't want single mothers). Realistically, the jobs that took hours for people in the 1930's were starting to take less time. It didn't make sense for a woman to spend all her time at home anymore, now it was just a luxury. Feminism didn't put women in the workforce, technology did, but with more women working, they naturally were about to change the dynamics of how we work with each other. The dividing lines were starting to blur.

So then Gen X comes around, and despite how we all probably look at the 1960's, the core values of America were still around. As much as I love to shit on hippies, the boomer still worked pretty hard, and still held onto a lot of traditional values. but something new was about to happen. See, by the 1980's, the idea that children were an investment had died. We still looked favorably upon the family unit, almost all shows were still focused around a family, but it was purely ideological, not practical. No more did you have to have children to support you in your old age, and so as America came to realize this we started to see Television shows portraying kids not as something beautiful, but as something hellish. 1989 The Simpsons hit the scene. While early seasons still showed this loving and compassionate family, it also showed just how rotten and frustrating it could be raising your own kids. The 90's followed suite with shows portraying single life as luxurious, Seinfeld and Friends were some of the post popular shows of the decade, meanwhile other popular shows like Boy Meets World, The Fresh Prince, and The 70s Show, while featuring family at their core, also began to include and prominently feature "the relationship of the week" trope for at least one main character who would always be dating someone new. This served to show how fun it could be to be constantly dating new people. By the early 2000's we had shows like Malcolm in the Middle, Family Guy, South Park, and making family life now seem outright chaotic and stressful, while also portraying people as buffoons and constantly illogical.

And by now, the idea that children are an investment is a completely foreign concept to people. The idea that you used to have children whom you would live with for the rest of your life even sounds distasteful and abhorrent to some of you... but that was life right up until WWII. If we never had social security, you would have spent a lot more time with your grandparents, and raising you with proper values to keep you stable enough to care for your parents would be at the front of everyone's mind. Instead, you were a burden to your parents. Something they maybe even regretted on some level. You cost them tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars, and what do they get out of it, a call once a week, maybe if they are lucky?

What good are kids these days? You don't need to have your own, and you'll be wealthier if you don't have one. Also not having kids means that you don't have to commit to anyone, so you don't have to worry about divorce and losing half your shit. Think about it, kids are a total fucking burden these days, and because of that, we don't give a fuck about em like we used too. We used to raise em strong, and raise them to be able to handle anything. We invested most of our resources in the men because the men were the ones most likely to be independent enough to care for us when we were older. We had strong family values, and without those strong family values we descend into degenerate behavior. Degenerate behaviors like thinking it's healthy and acceptable to fuck everyone you meet for some quick dopamine.

I love the red pill, but sexual promiscuity, even for men, is not red pill... it's something you might as well do as society declines, but promiscuity is the tippy top of blue pill ideology. True red pill is realizing that valuing sex and family is what makes a society strong. But sadly, there is just nothing that we can do to fix the problem as long as social security exists. It will always be easier to let our parents grow old and lonely as they waste away on the couch watching the news and waiting for us to call.

Btw, loneliness is the the most common emotion reported among old people. I know that we are all young here, but that sad fate awaits most of you. Your tough guy lifestyle will be harder and harder to maintain, you'll get inured and not heal because your 50 and that's life. Then you'll retire, and most of your friends will become shut ins and start dying because they stopped moving around. It's coming, you might think you'll be special, but you probably won't. It's very very sad. Social security is the slow and painful death of a nation, it's the eradication of the value and investment of children, and it's the issuer of neglect, loneliness and anger towards our own flesh and blood, our own parents.

Society isn't feminized because "muh women raise children now", it's feminized because we lost the value of a family, and without a family supporting itself and pushing for it's children to find stability they naturally turn to the easier nature of instability, hook ups and focusing on looks and lust over personality and character. Parents don't care, their jealous because they don't see the lonely fate that awaits them, they're just happy that their kid gets to bang someone hotter than they got to bang, they live vicariously through that bullshit when they aren't resenting the money hole that their child was. No one wants kids anymore, and so there is no reason not to just turn sex away from something that was meant to bond us together and into something we just do for fun. This is why socialism is in fact, evil.

Political correctness. Can't say anything, can't do anything, everyone is offended.

Even the little shithead who didn't finish a race got a medal for trying. Everyone just needs a hug and they'll be A-Okay!

Life is too easy and comfortable in the middle class.

Go look at the lower classes, they aren't emasculated are they? Why? Because life isn't as easy for them.

Look up mens testosterone levels over time. As a society men's testosterone levels have taken a nosedive over the last 80 year's. I'd say this is the main factor in societies emasculation.

However other major contributing factors are the prevalence of single mother households, and the structure of modern primary schools favoring young girls behavior patterns over young boys. At least in relation to the last 10-20 years as the kids raised in that environment are now grown and effecting society as a whole.

[–]livear-3 points-2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Smoking raises testosterone.

The smoke free culture is also a contributing factor to lowered testosterone levels.

It’s porn and TV for the most part. Back in the day, men didnt watch porn and masturbate every day like they do now, which drains testosterone and drive to meet a women. Therefore, the guys in the past would have to be a decent human and win a woman over/ be manly. Nowadays TV teaches girls it’s ok to fuck the guy you met on tinder (making it easy for a guy to get laid without being attractive or manly) and guys sit in their bedroom depressed for the most part because their drive to live life is diminished after every porn vid they masturbate to.

A man with testosterone has a lot of power and it’s my opinion that many people “normalize” masturbation to take this power away from guys.

Glorification of geek culture certainly hasn't helped. I don't know how being some Michael Cera looking nerd who watches superhero films became trendy. I think when the big emo craze in the 00's happened too, that added to this aesthetic.

Sperm counts and testosterone have been dropping since WW2, no one knows why. Many suspect either plastics or lifestyle to be the problem. Sperm Count Zero. Either way, kids born today have less than half their grandfathers did. We are turning into women...very slowly. If this trend continues men won’t have enough testosterone to have an erection and reproduce.

[–]dagenought3 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy

Boys need fathers. Hell they even use to make this apparent in 90's movies like Boyz in the hood when the mother shipped her son (main character) to go live with the father because she could not teach him how to be a man. And the movie Dangerous Minds when the teacher yells at the students that " there are no victims in this class room " now a days both these concepts are devoid from society. Everyone is a victim and single mothers are the hallmark of feminist society.

Lot of great answers. From a biological perspective, things like sugar, saturated fat (and possibly soy) have been reducing people's testosterone, as well as living a sedentary lifestyle.

The emasculation of white western men is a psyop by the Chinese government. They bribe officials in important influential positions to develop programs of propaganda which undermine western masculinity as a way of keeping us from being a threat to Chinese activity on a global stage.

Feminism and other anti-western movements are supported via donations from the Chinese authorities. They bribe politicians through 'donations'. Most importantly, universities are controlled both through donations and the attraction of well-funded Chinese students. Notice how a lot of the emasculation rhetoric originates in universities?

Also notice how feminism (as well as other counter-culture movements such as hippies & the black panthers etc.) originated in the 60s, when the Cold War was starting to gain momentum? They were originally created by the KGB in order to hamper and undermine western society, but now the Chinese are the main players because China is so incredibly wealthy.

Average testosterone levels have continued to decrease over time. Many speculate that the introduction of plastics are a factor in this as many plastic compounds are xenoestrogens or estrogen mimicking compounds. Plastic compounds literally 'effeminize' men. So make sure to max your test levels by eating healthy, weightlifting, sleeping well, bang women, and take some zinc supplements.

The study was published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism.

“The interesting thing we discovered was that, on average, when we measured the testosterone in the blood of a 60-year-old in 1989 it was higher than that in a different 60-year-old measured in 1995,” said Thomas Travison, PhD, of the New England Research Institutes, Watertown, Mass. “We observed the same phenomenon over a wide range of ages.”

[–]Thinkingard1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

I agree with the Testosterone theory. I feel like mental toughness and aggression is lacking. Watch movies from the 70s and earlier and look at who the male heroes were and how they behaved. When I listened to an interview of H.L. Mencken, from the 50s, I believe, I couldn't help but think that I never hear men talk that way. It's not just physical intimidation, but men used to be seen wise with sharp intellects if they weren't just downright scary. Men today take shit from everyone. They just take it and take it and never do anything.

One trope I've noticed in the past 10-20 years is how many right-wing men, especially rural men, like to boast about their guns and how they'd do this and that if it ever came down to it. Chickenshits, all of them. None of them are going to do jack because they have too much to lose. We are soft because we are well fed and pleasured. We are all the fat guy who was raped in Deliverance.

Western men lack aggression. They lack toughness. Even muscles don't look very tough on a man anymore because those men often aren't going through hardship. Hardship can make you tough, but only if you come out on top and become indomitable. Winning helps and a lot of Millennial men don't win, can't win.

The Jewish controlled media always portraying women as incredibly strong and competent (Mary Sue) and men as comedic baboons.

Its usually the opposite.

[–]TheCondor963 points4 points  (5 children) | Copy

I always laugh when I see this Jewish controlled media idea. You do realize characters are created to be relatable to the people who consume large amounts of media. The reason women are portrayed as strong and men as bufoonish is because the men who consume large amounts of media are usually very emasculated (nerds, weebs, and other loser types), and the women are strong because the women who consume large amounts of media are usually overbearing and aggressive in their personalities (aka nonfeminine or bitchy women) what you'll notice about both these types of people is that they aren't very socially adept and therefore more likely to be at home consuming media than out spending time with other people. The media isn't controlled by Jewish people it's controlled by capitalism.

[–]Bing_Bang_Bam2 points3 points  (4 children) | Copy

It is a fact it's controlled by persons of Jewish descent. Jews have contributed massively to mathematics and philosophy etc. etc.

But they do seemingly tend to consolidate power into their own groups, as most groups do.

[–]TheCondor96-1 points0 points  (3 children) | Copy

Do you understand market forces? They control the people you think are controlling the media. Those companies have a duty to create profit, and if the people running them don't they are replaced. So they do what will create profit. What controls what is profitable isn't the supposed Jewish kabal of elites, it is average people. The companies react to the culture not the other way around. SJW types existed long before they began to appear in mass media.

Why are so many actors and actresses Jew? Most of consumers are non-Jewish. The fact contradicts to what you say.

[–]TheCondor960 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Because they are usually more talented and therefore are more successful based on the merit of their work. Try looking up what the average iq of an Ashkenazi Jew is. If I remember right it's definitely above average. So it only makes sense they would be over represented in fields that require mental acuity in the same way African Americans are over represented in jobs that require high physical ability.

Plus they can be identified with by a large consumer audience because they are a Caucasian ethnic group.
