Hello ladies,

I am an 18 year old going to college/living in the middle of DC, which means I am surrounded by high-value men. "High-value" to me does not necessarily mean "high-income" at all, but rather ambitious, morally straight, displays leadership, and looks towards the future. I'm not in too much of a rush to start dating, but I am comfortable with myself and what I could bring to a relationship (thanks to you ladies and your advice on self-improvement!) and I would at least like to be on the lookout. However, I am on a very liberal college campus, and the majority of the men here are either gay or undateable (partying, drugs, not looking towards the future)...I am not too keen on using sites like Tinder or Bumble to find a date, as I know from other's experiences that it will take quite a lot of wading through guys who just want to hookup to find an actual date.

Where should I start looking for quality men in the city? I'm thinking sporting events (I ride horses, play tennis and golf, and I used to play lacrosse, but we have great hockey here as well), possibly gyms, and classier events (like charities) that are plentiful here. Further, if most of the high-value men are older (say, 22, 23) would they be creeped out by my age, or should I just go for it?

Cheers, you all have been absolutely wonderful in keeping me on track early!
