Rephrase all your questions as statements.

Boring Question	Assertive Statement
"How old are you?"	"You look 25."
"Where do you live?"	"I bet you're a [region] girl."
"Do you like dogs?"	"You're such a dog person, I know it."

Making assertive and assumptive statements is great because it's a win-win situation. If you're right, she's says, "OMG, HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT???" If you're wrong, she'll correct you and the conversation continues.

This is a very complicated question. In general when I flirt I am not looking for response to questions from the girl, but reactions. Good or bad reactions it does not matter, just say things that get her emoting. Responses to questions are boring and do not build attraction, they are cold and impersonal. Like you said a job interview. Assertive language is a good middle ground, for this as RedSunBlue pointed out. They give the girl a topic to answer but still can cause her to react to what you say. Also, you need to be relaxed, I find that if I am relaxed then flirty interactions happen more naturally.

I personally like to lightly tease and egg her on to challenge me back.

It's not something easily picked up but practice makes perfect and don't be afraid to utilize and modify other conversation topics that you've heard before that you liked.

One of my favorite 'go to characters' is being an absurd parody of the typical douche bag. Every once in a while casually throwing in or suggesting something so outrageous and following it up with cheeky grin in an attempt to get those flirtatious juices flowing.
