At this point she's more invested than you are, that's a good thing but don't let it go to your head just keep being the best you possible for her.

"I love you" means "I need you". Female love is worthless - more of a liability than a benefit.

Would it kill her if I never say it back?

In my experience they learn to shut up about it and keep it to themselves. I just tell them "I don't do that word".

Tell her you care about her. This should placate the beast for a while.

She just said it for the first time most likely she's going to hit you up and apologize or let you know she didn't even realize she was saying it or whatever . It's not a big deal at this point ( unless she's crazy) , she felt it and said it . You probably can go a few more months weeks of her saying it before it becomes a big deal , it sounds like it's something she said in the moment while being overwhelmed with emotions . Congrats to you for giving her a dicking good enough for her to drop an L bomb . It's not a big deal yet don't overthink it , if you guys get more serious it becomes a bigger deal it sounds like you are still in the fun phase so keep having fun .

I dont agree generally with the other posters about either not saying it back or continously sliding past the issue. If you want a real life warning/example read my only AskTRP post to date.

Assuming you obviously want to keep this chick around, I'd advise replying with a L-Bomb back within 2 or 3 weeks. But, as with anything in LTR's make her feel like she earned it, it will be that much more valuable.

In my case, I never responded back "I love you" due to a mixture of both great difficulty in expressing my/any feelings, as well as a failure to read and respond correctly to COMFORT TESTS / correct application of TRP principles. You could say I was too redpill, for too long, with very little comfort shown.

It was the beginning of the end of a great LTR. She said "I love you" now and then for maybe 2 months, I never gave a return/skated around the issue. Resulted in the relationship deteriorating and now thats it. Read my AskTRP post.
