I just asked this girl I hit it off with and met at the bar a couple weeks ago if she wanted to hangout and grab some drinks at the bar. I'll skip all the boring text and get to the interesting part. This is AFTER she agreed to hangout and saying "I don't have anything to do tonight".

Me: okay, sounds good XYZplace at XYZtime.

Her: Okay, are you paying?

Me: I'm paying for myself, but you're welcome to join me.

Her: Wow.

Me: Not sure what you were expecting, I barely know you.

Her: You asked me to hangout haha bye

Me: Yeah I don't have the money for that but okay.

I sent the last text regardless of the fact I should have just deleted her number right then and there because I wanted to make her feel like a piece of shit for asking.

I really can't believe that a girl who I barely know had the balls to ask if I was paying. Truth be told, I do have the money to pay for whatever it would have cost. Is this what modern dating has turned into? Girls expecting that their entitled to being paid for?

Perhaps it's just that she wasn't that attracted to me. I get that, but instead of just being like "no, not interested" she's trying to get me to pay for something for her.

Thanks Obama Feminism.
