This doesn't have as much to do with sexual strategy as much as it does being a man and not white knighting when a girl is being a total bitch.

This girl I've been talking to for a few months was back in town for the holidays, and she was blowing off hanging out "because her college friends were in town". I decided it wasn't worth my time and planned a new years party with a few close friends.

New years eve rolls around, and she's wondering why I didn't invite her. She seems agitated that I didn't make more of an effort to hang out with her, but I think, 'hey, what the hell', and tell her she can stop by if she wants to.

Fast forward to that night, and she shows up with her college friends who suddenly aren't too important to blow off hanging out with me for (surprise surprise), and I introduce them to the rest of my friends, and the night continues. I invited them to play some drinking games with my friends as a way to break the ice, but she and her friends only seem interested in talking to each other in the kitchen, away from everyone else. About an hour after they showed up, they make some bullshit excuse about why they had to leave.

The following text messages were back and forth over the next week, though in hindsight I should have told her off much earlier. My whole life, I've tried my best to avoid confrontation. If this situation were to arise last year, I might have actually tried appeasing her bitchy attitude. I now cringe at the thought of that happening.

tl;dr Told a bitch to shut her fucking mouth and I'm happy about it.
