By him voicing this experience it shows how toxically masculine and privileged he is. /S

Trans men usually acquire the appearence of the least valued men in society. Weak, short, afeminate, unmanly voice. It is even worse than being a regular man. And also add the trans prejudice to crown it all.

The trans community and its supporters are making the choice to fight society for ehat they believe is the best choice for them, and their struggles are mostly around society not embracing them as valued people and even becoming uncomfortable with sharing spaces with them.

Guess what, what is already difficult can be even worse.

In my heart I truly believe trans people would be happier to avoid any hormone therapy or surgery. This attempt to belong to the opposite gender will never be fullfilling. We must embrace people with masculine and feminine attributes, despite their gender. If they need to dress and express themselves with closer looks to the opposite sex, they can. The people that will love them should not need their gender or bodies to change.

In your heart of hearts you feel as tho you are a man (assuming based on avatar).

No amount of people “accepting you” would make you be ok if you had a woman’s body nor would it I.

Yes, I am a cis male. I think hormone therapy and "top and bottom surgeries" like they are calling it now (trying to hide what is really being done to them) is very troublesome. People might be dying of cancer and have serious consequences, and they never get something close to the real thing with these plastic surgeries.

It might calm down some trans person that couldn't help but hate their penises and breasts but what if creates another serious problem for them later?

I just don't believe it. I could be wrong but we will all see where it goes as they are doing this wildly now.

Also most men that are interested in trans women are probably fine with their penises and anal sex, some even want it to be used on them.

We can either hope for enough technology to totally transform a body to the opposite sex, which I doubt I will see in my lifetime, or we can hope to make trans people live with their bodies and limite themselves to at least minor changes, something that don't make you have urinary problems, serious infections, an unusable genital, scarred chests, an incapacitated reproductive system and so on.

I feel really sorry for what these people are going through and I wished we had psychological solutions for them. Body butchering is not ok in my heart. But feel free to disagree, I am voicing a point of view and I doubt either you or them are completely right and neither I am.

Mental health is overwhelming positive in trans people who have had one or more surgeries. Lower rates of every reported diagnosis such as depression, anxiety, and most importantly suicidal thoughts and attempts. The majority of people who change their minds (1-8% iirc) do so before they undergone any surgeries.

You don’t have a point of view. You have a point in telling people what to do as consenting adults with their own bodies. A view that can’t be argued in any way as you have no basis to force anyone’s behavior if it impacts only them, You attempted to but fall short when arguing things like urinary infections vs realized suicide attempts which is around 40% for trans youth. Caveat being “attempts” are generally to bring light their issues vs actual permanent deletion.

I’m cis and have no LGBTQ friends and don’t really care to as I don’t have much of the same interest or personality as them. I just find it odd that people care so much about what other people do.

It’s not only consenting adults, they are actively brainwashing children now. They are getting children to take hormones and get these surgeries

just as with a lot of things, the average woman when she thinks of men, is thinking of men she's fucking, and men she's envying. explaining this to them is met with scorn rather than acknowledgement, so it's fruitless. it's similar to when they say "the bar is low": i sure as hell never saw any average woman who says those words that was in a hurry to find an average man who wasn't a deadbeat (and not to mooch on him.) but that's another topic

can't not relate because i experience the same passive agressiveness or weird looks from ppl

Of course men are seen as more privileged, men don't complain in public (only in the shadows, like here).

Men don't complain in public because other men literally tell them to "stop being a pussy" when they do.

Women are allowed to complain, men less so.

There are things men are allowed and women aren't allowed.

Fucking random strangers is considered awesome for a man.

It's mostly considered trashy for women.

Women don't go around saying "yeah I fucked this hottie last night", more often than not they'll hide it.

So yes, men and women aren't equal in the things that makeup their value - but there's a balance of forces where some things are mostly expected of men, and somewhat different things are mostly expected of women - which establish hierarchies of less/more valuable men/women (valuable in the minds of others that is).

EDIT:

I'm high, there's no telling if anything I wrote even makes sense - read at your own peril.

Tbh this person might have been better off not doing it, and it's not even about desirability, which is still a huge impact on mental health.

Lots of autistic traits in women are just passed as what he described in the post, quirky and endearing, but men get absolutely eaten alive socially because of it.

[–]IHateFernales 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

A lot of these females actually believe feminists when they say men live privileged lives

I suggest everyone to watch this video. It's very informative and nothing but pure facts. I often use them during arguments about "male privilege." https://youtu.be/_ucR-1NodAs

Can you message me a link to the post, OP?

Woman becomes a man and learns it sucks if your just an average guy..shocker.

[–]blebbyroo 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

He’s not average he’s autistic

[–]SmurfESmurferson -1 points0 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Oh good freaking lord. This person is autistic, and so badly misunderstood the male experience that they are somehow confused that they’re not being treated as female … despite being (what I can only imagine is) an uncanny valley version of a dude?

Look, this isn’t the win you thought it was when you posted it. I’m all for trans people being happy and going through whatever changes they feel they need to go through. That said …

This persons issue is very clearly the autism. Women understand that we are coddled by society, and our male loved ones don’t have that experience - we see it, and we see the situations where it’s an advantage for us, and situations where it’s an advantage for our male friends/family

This person comes across as completely incapable of fitting in as a woman because of autism, but mistook it for being trans. Now they are shocked that presenting as a man isn’t the cure-all they thought it would be … because life isn’t black and white

TL;DR - it’s fucking autism, and not gender issues. The idiot autist once again proving they can’t read social cues

[–]SkookumTree 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

This autistic guy got owned.

[–]Kappador66 -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

This person is just retarded.

Yeah no shit you're not going to be perceived as "cute and quirky" for acting like an "eccentric" autist in public and stimming uncontrolled. What did you expect?

Of course nobody is going to respect a guy who literally has the height and frame of a girl. Men with that kind of stature get shit all the time.

[–]Acearl -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Honestly. What did he expect. Transition isnt a cure all like everyone think it is or more accurately told it is.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
