When a woman says this qoute by Sylvia Plath on social media, she is universally applauded and people seem to accept this statement as unfiltered truth.

But when you see Redpill/Blackpill guys say basically the same exact same thing - that personality traits like: kindness, generosity, loyalty, honesty, ect - don't really matter to women when it comes to attraction?

People immediately jump at our throats for it and tell us how wrong we are. Saying it's our toxic personalities that turn off women. That we need to work on our personalities. Therapy this, personality that, yadda yadda yadda.

Its just a weird cognitive bias I've noticed most people have. Apparently the truth is only "the truth" depending on who is saying it.

The "Child Molester Chad" social experiment pretty much completely and utterly destroyed the notion that your personality matters when it comes to attraction.

If you never heard of this experiment, here is the rundown:

  • A Tinder profile of "Chad" was made, your stereotypical 6'5 muscular hunk with a jawline that can cut diamonds.

  • But there's a catch... this man is a repeat child rapist, with a long history of beating and abusing women. Pretty fucking disturbing, right? No woman in her right mind would go anywhere near this man!

  • Dead. Wrong. This man had hundreds of women lined up to meet with him despite the fact he's a violent rapist of children and woman beater.

  • The women who responded were well aware of his past, and even used it as sort of a kink in thier conversations. Like "Omg, such a bad boy! 😘", or "Come over to my apartment, and I'll redeem you of your sins 😈."

Honestly, seeing shit like this has ruined me. It has permanently marred my perception of people, and I don't think it can be undone.

Personality doesn’t matter when initially meeting someone, because human beings are shallow. But looks only get you so far when your personality is garbage.

The difference between an attractive guy with a shit personality and an average guy with a fun personality is a “I’m just not feeling the connection. Sorry!” And “when can I see you next?”

no, i just am not so sure it's a majority. this is one area where i think older people should get reminders from younger people - older people forget the past & hide their toxicity from one another better: in other words, most of us are who we were at 15, some of us just mask it better than others. now, if we're splitting hairs down to the individual level (i.e. if we started discussing this woman and that woman), you and i would be in agreement.

I totally get that looks matter to women. But they are not being honest that looks are the most important thing that matters, and for some women the only thing that matters (in terms of sexual attraction). A sizable demographic of women are even willing to forgive men who are rapists, child molesters, and serial killers; so long as they are attracted to them.
