Norah Vincent went undercover as a man for a year. And she really tried; she was a convincing, albeit kinda wimpy guy. She tried online dating, back in 04 iirc when it was really new. She got a few first dates but no second dates. Then she started admitting she was actually a woman during failing dates, and started getting second dates.
