"Aspie gf" here.... First of all, although diagnosed with "asperger syndrome" it's a term that is being left in the past (nazi Germany, discrimination etc).

I'm flattered that some want someone "like me", however stress, anxiety and depression are so common among "us" it should be noted. Same goes for meltdowns due to seemingly no reason.

So yeah...

Also a lot of "aspie girls" aren't inherently asexual, but rather would avoid another person involved... So guys should be proud enough, not to be hurt by that...

It can also be very hard for "us" to compromise, wanting something to be done in a certain way.

Also overthinking and over analysing every single little detail one does, is also very common.

"We" are like other people, complex, and not necessarily ideal.

Same. Imagine not being afraid of being able to be yourself around women? Like if you are 30 and still enjoy video games or anime, normie women will absolutely lambast you. They expect you to 'grow up' and do 'adult things'.

At least aspies all have similar autistic interests like video games, reading books, fantasy lore, watching YouTube documentaries, anime etc.

Aspies/ADHD people are more likely to be asexual too since sex can often be difficult when you find it hard to express emotions. Not that I don't want sex but sometimes just cuddling and chilling is nice.

XD I wish it could be that easy. Often meltdowns are caused by triggers, these triggers might be easy to remove, however, they doesn't solve the internal issues of thoughts and feelings that have build up, which actually causes the meltdowns.

Eh, I really don’t. I’ve met girls that do nothing but play video games. I mean even they have higher standards than me and won’t go out with me lol. But more importantly I just find that so boring. I play games a bit but I just find them depressing. I have the kind of money I can travel and explore more so I’d rather have a girlfriend that I could do that stuff with, but obviously women like that have even higher standards I also won’t meet lol

Not really... With my first bf, I would constantly get told, I could do better. He was a really awkward nerdy type, not the "cute one", but the scrawny type with bad posture, weird gestures, bad acne, unproportional facial features, already balding at 17. AND JUST SO AWKWARD. Most of my friends (autistic or not) were sure he too was on the spectrum. Now I wasn't blinded by love or anything, looks aren't what I go for, I liked the conversations we could have.

My current boyfriend is technically "NT", but not quite, he's very shy, and doesn't like big social gatherings and such. However we support each other very well. I encourage him to do presentations and to go be social, and he helps me, when things get overwhelming.

Being babied by a bf, who would aid me in everything, would make me insecure, and feeling worthless, I think.
