If sex and relationships aren't a big deal, why are they so closely guarded?

November 12, 2022

A common theme I see here on Reddit is people telling Redpill/Blackpill/MGTOW guys that sex and relationships are not what they're cracked up to be, and they are not that important so they shouldn't be dwelling on being single.

But if that's really the case, why are sex and relationships so closely guarded? If those things really weren't a big deal, women would be dating short and ugly dudes left and right because sex and intimacy are basically non-events to them. But that is obviously not the case, or 30% of millennial men wouldn't be involuntarily celibate.

I think this is a prime example of cognitive dissonance at play, but I'd be interested to hear some of your answers.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
