Neurodivergent men and men with mental disorders have it the worst

People just hate us and dehumanize us and tell us we need therapy instead of hearing us out and actually engaging with us. This makes it hard for us to find a partner and meet new people.

Imagine being neurodivergent and ugly

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I stand corrected that is the worst

Sadly, it makes it all areas of life more challenging: friendships, work and hobbies too.

That is why people suggest therapy: if you have car trouble, you get a professional to fix it, as most people do not have the experience to do it themselves, and the time and effort it takes to gain that experience is far more valuable than the cost of the professional's labour.

The same goes for emotional or mental issues: it is an investment that pays for itself many times over, when you find an appropriate therapist.

I would compare it more with excercising. A therapist can make you an excercise plan, but if you want results you need to put in the work of actually excercising. And you won't gain muscles immediatelly it requires a lot of time (months-years) and consistent excercise.

So it's not like a mechanic whom you pay and their fix it with no work from you (except trying to describe the problem).

Just cause I'm r*tarded doesn't mean I don't bang mad hoes.

Well women do say that they want to be with someone special

[–]SmarmyPapsmears 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree. Actually in the ND community it is pretty well known that ND women don't struggle on the same level as ND men. Men are held to higher standards than women are.

Wtf does neurodivergent even mean..bro stop coming up wit made up ass terms for being on the spectrum..maybe stop pretending your “different” and you’ll get hoes 😂🤷‍♂️

[–]DivineDaedraChadwife 2 points3 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

It… it means having a mental condition. It’s just a broad term to include people with personality disorders, mood disorders, autism, etc.

[–]Best_Illustrator_137 -1 points0 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Yeah I know..read the next sentence it was rhetorical 🙄

[–]DivineDaedraChadwife 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

It’s not rhetorical though, because it’s a widely used term that is not specific to being on the spectrum and it sounded like you weren’t aware of just how popular it was.

Saying “my brain doesn’t function normally” is way more wordy than “I’m neurodivergent” lol

[–]Best_Illustrator_137 -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I’m saying I was being rhetorical as in I say what it is right in the next sentence..it’s an umbrella term I know 😂🙄

Lifetime achievement award for asking a question that a Google search would answer instantly but then refusing to do so and settling instead for just being wrong.

[–]Best_Illustrator_137 -2 points-1 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Lol it’s rhetorical cause I literally explain it in the next sentence..just say your on the spectrum and move on.🤷‍♂️

Confidently incorrect. Displaying your willful ignorant isn’t something to be proud of.

You’re the equivalent of that dumb jock who goes “reading!? Ha that’s for nerds!!”

[–]Best_Illustrator_137 0 points1 point  (5 children) | Copy Link

Lol okay bro..shits a made up term that became popular in the last few years like all of those other buzzwords that don’t mean anything..maybe go outside and see how many ppl actually identify with that instead of it just being internet kids who want to be trendy..and reading is an actual tangeble thing and I like to do it but I will say I’m swole like a jock so I’ll take it as a compliment 😂

[–]decoy88A Black Dude♂️ 1 point2 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

All terms are made up dummy. Your section on “buzzwords” is hilarious on a forum called r/AllPillDebate.

Stop celebrating stupidity.

[–]Best_Illustrator_137 0 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy Link

Lol and then codified cause I could just make up a term right now..doesn’t mean it’ll be in the Merriam dictionary anytime soon..it was rhetorical..read the sentence..

So... lie to oneself?

[–]Best_Illustrator_137 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Nah just say your on the spectrum easy fix..

Are you trying to win the victim olympics or develop strategies for living a better life?

Something that everyone forgets, the point of the red pill was about results, not theories

I think a mix of both therapy and finding people to talk to about the issues you may have is the most effective way to live a happier life. Hell, just a diagnosis can help a lot of people feel better and help them to find things that help them lead a more "normal" life. I think it's important to remember that the people who think lowly of you for these issues aren't actually a majority. I personally just ignore them and move on with my day because they're just not worth the time. Sorry if that sounded like a rant, I'm not actually sure how to "verbalize" that opinion

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
