Also keep in mind how many people are personally invested in keeping the current narrative alive - coping ugly guys, gold diggers, settlers, female players, feminists, the entire "dating advice" industry (both mainstream AND PUA/Game), and corporations (think of all the stuff men buy due to false beliefs about female sexual attraction). If too many men recognized that women are only "less visual than men" in a pragmatic sense, not only would our entire dating culture be changed significantly, but there'd be effects on the economy as well.

These subs drive me nuts with this stuff. It’s so disingenuous to tell people that looks don’t matter and women love nice guys but so many people have experienced otherwise. Your just telling people that their experience is not valid and that their feelings don’t matter. If you want to say “NOT ALL ….. blah blah blah” then please concede that MANY or MAJORITY of people have had these experiences.
