QW: The women who don't participate in casual sex, do you think women like you are unicorns or more common than we men think?

So from my understanding of the redpill and mainstream feminism, they say most people hook up and that it's very common. While others have said it isn't common. So what is the answer here exactly I don't understand?

I’m not one of them but I know a lot of women who do not do casual sex, or who did once or twice but didn’t like it so didn’t again

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy Link

But why didn't they participate in hook up culture is it because of shame or they genuinely believe sex should be in loving context

I can not answer for all of them but I have had conversations with a. Few who have said they need to feel an emotional connection with someone to have the desire to have sex with them

That's beautiful of them that's a good reason to abstain from casual sex.

Most women usually try once or twice and decide from there if it's for them or not

[–]SilentFroggy -1 points0 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

Already a red flag from trying

[–]RatDontPanicAverage Unfrustrated Chump 7 points8 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

But not a red flag when men do it? WTF?

[–]Hyena_Utopia1 points [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Its not really something thats up to men to decide whether its a red flag or not. Women tend not to care about purity in their partner and previous promiscuity. So naturally its not a red flag in any meaningful way.

"Having a few sexual partners was seen as more attractive than having only one or none. However, the participants grew progressively less willing to get involved in a relationship as the number of past partners increased beyond a few.

"In addition, the researchers found no difference between men and women’s willingness to get involved in a long-term relationship with a hypothetical individual who had more than two past sexual partners."

"Certainly, there are still some people out there who hold to the old double standard. But they seem to be a dwindling minority. One recent study found that only about 12% of students held the traditional double standard, but also that around 13% held a reverse double standard – in other words, they thought it was worse for men to sleep around a lot. The traditional double standard was more common among men; the reverse double standard was more common among women. In other words, underlying the different double standards there was actually just a single double standard: It’s OK for me but not for you! To be clear, though, most people didn’t have a double standard at all: They judged men and women in the same way."

Plenty of men get women are fellow humans who were once young, single, and horny.

Guys who think it's a red flag don't want to date women who enjoy casual sex, but that goes both ways, so it doesn't matter.

I just think that men who engage in rampant casual sex are just as bad for LTRs as women who do it.

They're not unicorns, they just not as loud about it as people who have had sex, either due to insecurity or just they want privacy. As a sex-haver I am loud about it because I like discussing the topic

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

We need people like us to be loud in order for us to stay competitive with you folks. We cannot let you dominate and monopolize the youth

[–]ROlderbrother -1 points0 points  (12 children) | Copy Link

So what is the answer here exactly I don't understand?

literally that each of the ~4 billion women on earth are individuals and some of them will engage in regular casual sex and some won't.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (11 children) | Copy Link

Who will and who won't shouldn't there be a pattern to all this?

[–]ROlderbrother 1 point2 points  (10 children) | Copy Link

What? No. They're unique, individual human consciousnesses.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (9 children) | Copy Link

You know patterns are real right that no matter how unique you claim you are there is someone similar to you out there.

[–]ROlderbrother 1 point2 points  (7 children) | Copy Link

yeah i bet there's a pattern of guys scratching their balls in perfect unison with mine own but any 'pattern' you drag out of that is pure coincidence and you'd be a special type of idiot to posit otherwise.

[–]FastBananaViral 1 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

Yes all inferences from correlation are meaningless. The entire scientific method is bullshit

[–]ROlderbrother 1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Hahaha yeah there was definitely some results borne of the scientific method that I was replying to and you didn't make that all up entirely.

[–]FastBananaViral 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Yes but anything in regards to females is not valid of course

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I know right!

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

Yeah you are not worth my time go back to scratching your balls cheif

[–]ROlderbrother 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

good luck with your cork board and red string trying to figure out whether 4 billion women like casual sex or not
