Crosspost "Why does life always seem to suck no matter what we do?" from /r/AskMenOver30:

Married to the girl of my dreams, but her sexual past still haunts me 15 years in.

Have two kids, but it’s apartment living and they don’t have any space to go outside and play.

Make an obscene amount of money, but can’t leave a very high cost of living area so I might as well be at the poverty line.

Have friends, but no close friends where I can tell them what I’m posting here.

Live in a world class city, but too expensive to buy and being a renter makes it feels like I can’t breathe.

Sick of my career after 20 years, but too scared to make a change.

The list goes on… I’m always stressed that the good things in my life could be better which makes me incapable of enjoying the moment. Why can’t anything not suck for a while?

Brutal.

Sexual history does matter. I don't want a woman that has been with 90 guys sorry. I don't want tainted goods.

I don't feel sorry for him at all. He knew his wife had an extensive sexual past and he still chose to marry her. That is 100% on him. If you want a low body count woman then go get her, don't marry a promiscuous woman and then cry about it later.

Women complain all the time about how muh society pressures them into decisions they shouldn't have made

Haha as always, only men have agency I guess

[–]Wide-Illustrator2906 4 points5 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

Are you a woman or are you seeking to be treated like one? I am certainly not, I am going to hold myself accountable for all my decisions even if I was ignorant of better choices. That's the only way you will ever learn from your mistakes.

Gloriously based!

Either it's muh equality which will be shoved down the perpetrator's throats like accelerationism, or it isn't, in which case time to immediately restore Patriarchy and chaperones

dont marry those women

[–]Dreaminofthepasts[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

Broader point that these things are happening doesn't change simply by not marrying them, because they are shaping society to their will

[–]Opening_Pattern_301GloriousPill 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

dont marry them simply because you re not into them, they cant shape jack shit if you pay no attention to them

[–]MasonSub4BlackPill 0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

Easier said than done.

Nothing in life worth having comes easy

Unless you're a woman

I consider myself pretty open-minded to other perspectives and not being reactionary to peoples' likes/dislikes and experiences, but when I see a potential partner knowing that they've slept around a lot, there's this disgust that's hard to describe. I don't mean having long-term partners over the years. I mean sleeping around a lot.

It's not like a conscious process. Like logically, I want to think "they're free to do what they want with their body as long as they're tested and it's their life". And it's not even a fear of getting cheated on or anything like that. Fuck all the societal programming.

There's just this innate disgust that comes from the image of imagining what that would entail. It's like if you told me to suck a dick as a straight guy. It's hard to describe but there's this innate disgust that arises from the thought, similar to the feeling of looking at maggots.

So like yeah, I won't judge people for what they do on like a human-to-human basis. But when it comes to living my life, if you ask me whether I want to sleep in a room with my ideal partner but once every few days, she would walking around the house with maggots all over her, I couldn't do it. It's just disgusting. I don't need that in my life.

Maybe when it comes to sleeping with them, it's more like you're not attached or you don't care about them, so it's similar to a handshake with no visible maggots. But then when you have to live with the long-term and build a connection, it's like removing the clothing that reveals all those maggots. That's the best way to describe it.

And then if they lie about having that past, it's like a chemical that makes the maggots hide throughout the day. But then as soon as you find out, the chemical is no longer effective and now you're seeing the maggots again.

If you want to go even further than that, since I'd argue that most people get that feeling of disgust, now imagine your friends and family finding out that you partner has maggots on her and you were okay with living with that arrangement. What does that say about you? And let's say that they're all understanding. Why would you want to deal with that when you don't have to?

Someone could argue "oh it's just maggots. It's not like they'll harm you. Just flick them off. She's a great person" (flicking maggots meaning ignoring the disgust). It's like yeah but if I had to choose between living like that, or living alone, then I'd rather live alone.

It's extremely visceral, I couldn't agree more and this is probably the best analogy I've seen

Based and imagery-pilled.

Sexual history matters for men and women equally. Sorry but not sorry redpillerz

[–]Dreaminofthepasts[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

That's up to women to decide what to do about 🤷‍♂️

[–]StarTrippinn 0 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy Link

Im not sure what you think you're proving here lol. Clearly the guy has mental health problems.

[–]Dreaminofthepasts[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

This is pretty ordinary stuff

[–]StarTrippinn 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

If its not mental health related, the guy is absolutely a loser. Even the comments say that its pretty ridiculous.

[–]Dreaminofthepasts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

No u

[–]Sea-Cow4216 -2 points-1 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

This guy seems like a depressed loser
