And yet

Harvard study by Alexandra Killewald:

For marriages formed after 1975, husbands’ lack of full-time employment is associated with higher risk of divorce, but neither wives’ full-time employment nor wives’ share of household labor is associated with divorce risk. Expectations of wives’ homemaking may have eroded, but the husband breadwinner norm persists.

The solid facts.

but neither wives’ full-time employment nor wives’ share of household labor is associated with divorce risk

That's bit surprising as it can lead to wives resenting husband

Doesn’t change the fact that females initiate 70% of all divorces

This is the academic rigor working correctly.

Amelia Karraker, the study's author and a professor at Iowa State University, told Retraction Watch. "As soon as we realized we made the mistake, we contacted the editor and told him what was happening, and said we made a mistake, we accept responsibility for it."

Honestly,I believe it,That is kind of true!

Even if they don't leave, marriage is ruined already

This is why I always say to women if they got serious disease, plan to die early

Men are more likely to leave when their spouse is sick, but only 6% more likely, not 6 times more likely. It's still bad, but not what the manhaters have been throwing around for almost 20 years.

It was shown that women are much more likely to stay when their husband's are sick when there is a life insurance policy. When there isn't the chances are about the same between genders.

Yikes, do you have a link to substantiate that? That's a scary indictment right there.

I read about this a couple years ago but I'll try to find it again. It also indicated higher rates of staying correlated to wealth the husband had to pass on to her if I remember correctly. When I originally read the studies it was in response to the narrative that women are somehow more righteous than men, but it was an entire expose against that claim.

i never really questioned it, i figured it made sense that women would stick around to get their check since udually the men are the greater earners

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
