I want to argue this but my friend was 4'9" and she wanted the biggest dudes she could get. I used to chastise her for being "greedy" and that her height difference with a short man was greater than the average male to female ratio and she should leave the big men for tall girls do they can wear heels too! 👠 😆 She ended up marrying a 5'6" guy and us quite happy. Pretty ironic in my sense of reality then lol.

Beacause the kind of rhetoric it spawns is where looks are what matters most. It tries to reduce reality to universal principles which simply is not true. People are much more complex and shit like trauma can alter ones percpection and decision making for example. I see as much reason to say that personality matters most as that looks matter. Maybe looks do matter generally more, it's not far fetched claim by no means. But when you are dating you are dating actual human being who might just throw all those universally percieved principles and behavioral tendencies out of window. Or not. Thats why it's important to actually experience the reality through itself rather than internet posts.

As a taller individual, I seemed to get a LOT of attention from short girls on dating apps. I'm 6'3" and there tons of girls 5'1" and below, the shortest being 4'7". Was always kinda weirded out by it, knowing the first thing people would think is "He's disgusting for dating her." Feels like a fetish thing a lot of the time - like I'm not entirely sure how they think it will all work in a physical sense...

Either way, 3'10" is CRAZY small, kinda creepy for a guy to want to date someone half his size, but also pretty weird for her to want to date someone twice her size.
