In all fairness, it's not just a show. it is a cultural product that shows how the creators invent a world according to their ideas and it shows how much the public agrees with their vision. I don't think people who see things differently, in terms of story and characters, would actually watch the show. I was so disgusted by handmade's tale and flee bag that I couldn't be bothered to watch more than I need to realise what shitty shows they were.

The real issue here is that the show doesn't struggle at all. It was extremely successful, which means people enjoyed it the way it was, without needing any strong or special female characters. Another sign that the invasion of all these strong, amazing female characters from other netflix shows is not really wanted by the public, but they watch them because of the media hype and lack of better options.
