I hate that they constantly say that “it’s ok for men to cry” like fuck off the difference is we only cry when it’s a good time and place with people we trust not in front of randoms online or at the smallest inconvenience. The whole man up phrase in my family isn’t telling men to hide their emotions and take a beating it’s life is hard and in the face of adversity you gotta keep the head up and push forward don’t let emotions cloud your decision or trap you be the man you wish to be.
