You might wanna take a step back and evaluate how you’re thinking in terms of collectivism here too often. Reddit has pretty diverse viewpoints in all, even within any given subreddit.

I don’t know how I feel about adults transitioning besides that we should let them do what they want to their own bodies. Do I think it’s entirely healthy? No, probably not. Their suicide and mental illness rates are correlated too high with their dysphoria. But there is something there that’s not simple mental illness that I don’t know enough about to say.

Most everyone here would say they would support a trans person’s right to transition, so idk why you’re upset. Protecting children, however, is where some people become split on human rights vs. protecting the vulnerable.

Edit: Actually, I thought I was on /r/classical_liberals for a second. This sub tends to be more varied in its belief on individual liberty.
